[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use this dehumidifier in our RV. With the humidity in a Florida, dampness can destroy an RV. We chose this to protect our investment. We chose to drain the collected water into the sink in the RV. After running it a week, six hours a day, we drained our tank to find about 10 gallons of water in it.

I've had this product for about a month and have nothing but compliments. I have it in the basement, and my basement smells better during this humid time in Missouri. I empty two buckets a day and it's time to attach a hose instead because I can't keep up with the efficiency of this dehumidifier. My friends are also sold. Bravo, Frigidaire!

I've had this for 2 weeks, running in the basement. Every 6 hrs or so, it stops running and displays "EC". I unplug it, plug it back in, then it runs again for another 6 hrs or so. My basement isn't below 40 degrees and I'm plugged into the correct type of outlet. It doesn't run long enough to really bring the humidity level down yet. SO disappointed. My old frigidaire dehumidifier ran for years without issue.

Having spent a considerable amount of money on metal fitness equipment, I wanted to protect my investment. I've been nothing short of satisfied since I bought this machine! In the Summertime it gets extremely humid where I live and it has no issue maintaining the humidity between 50-60 percent in a 500 square foot space. At first I had concerns about not having a plan to run a drainage hose, however, the H2O bin is fairly large and takes 1-2 days to fill up. It is an absolute breeze to empty, so I have just worked it into my daily routine. My buddy has two of these, one for the garage and one inside the house and both have been running well for the last 4 years. The air filter is also fairly easy to keep clean. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality product with a good lifespan and minimal hassle.

The light came on to check the filter and to clean it, that was easy to do and turn the light off. Overall, it's running as it should and it's great to have.

Our basement has little air circulation, so a quality dehumidifier is essential. This Frigidaire appliance is the fourth or fifth dehumidifier we have owned (the first Frigidaire), and we believe it to be the best of all. It runs quietly and removes a full load of moisture each day, keeping the basement fresh and comfortable. ...Highly recommended...

We have had the dehumidifier for a couple of months now. It seems to work well and I like the feature of being able to set a desired humidity level. My only complaint is that it has developed a rattle when the fan runs. It seems to be a vibration of the housing or handle.

Bought this to reduce the humidity and lessen the work load on my existing AC and also lower my electric bill. Doing the job great....Very impressed!

We looks at consumer reports for the best fit for our dehumidifier needs and this one received good ratings. It ran continually for a few days until it reached the right humidity in our basement. Now it kicks on occasionally. We empty the bucket every other day just to be safe. It is also pretty quiet.
