[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are using this dehumidifier in our Michigan basement. It has made a tremendous difference and pulls water every day very efficiently. We have it in our storage area and are easily able to empty the excess moisture collected into a laundry tub. The unit has a nice display which is very helpful for us to keep track of the humidity levels. We purchased this unit just after we had some storm water enter our basement through the floor. This unit helped with other measures to clear the air and provide a safe environment. Great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this as the basement in the house we moved in to was quite wet. It seems to be working well but since we seldom go into the basement I'm not sure how to rate it. The basement smells of mold so that's a different issue.

The dehumidifier works well. It was easy enough to set up and operate. The only thing I am disappointed with is the length of the power cord. It says not to use it with an extension cord, so I am limited in where I can place it. Cord is maybe 4 or 5'.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The price was right compared to what it offers. Extremely efficient! Quiet too. All you hear is the fan moving air. Can't tell if the compressor is running or not. Quite an advantage over the old unit. The guarantee is the icing on the cake!

I looked at several models, read on-line reviews and checked reputable review organizations, and this model was consistently rated very high. I purchased this at a local mom and pop hardware store when it was on sale. Works great and no issues. Ran it per the instructions for a few days on continuous run and then set my humidity level. Comes on and off a few cycles throughout the day. Check it twice a day and I have it drain right to the sump. No fuss.

We use it continuously in our [finished basement] storage room and it is fantastic at keeping our entire lower level free from dampness and humidity!!! It's super user friendly, easy to move, and - BONUS - it's way quieter than our previous unit so we can leave it on even when we're hanging out downstairs! Highly recommend!

We purchased this unit about three weeks ago and it seems to be working very well at removing the humidity from the air , but it runs continuously. I checked the manual to see if this was normal. It stated that the humidity level could be set too low and to increase it a few settings or the coils are not getting enough air across them. Could be a clogged filter or restricted air flow. So I cleaned the filter (very little dirt) and made sure there was no obstructions and increased the setting from 45 to 55. It continues to run all the time shutting off once in a while for a very short time. We've had a few dehumidifiers in the past but none of them operated continuously like this. Concerned about the electric bill. Time will tell. Other than that, it works well, quiet, and easy to use. The drain hose feature is nice so you don't have to drain the bucket all the time. Easy to carry and moves around effortlessly with the swivel wheels. Nice looking unit, worth the money.

So far the unit has performed much better than the old unit it replaced. It is much quieter and easy to empty, and I like the fan that pulls from the front and blows out the top. My only complaint is the darn beeping! It beeps when you empty the tank 8 times, it beeps when you turn it off, it beeps when you do anything.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first humidifier, same make and model number, blew up one night possibly due to passing thunderstorms and my improperly wired outlet (discovered, and fixed after the fact). I didn't hesitate to buy another. I bought a separate humidity gauge for my basement to verify the humidifier's numbers were at least reasonably similar, and they are. The filter is easy to clean and the bucket is simple to empty. My only complaint, and I imagine this is true of all humdifiers with containers which need to be emptied by the user is, after a while mold will form in the reservoir and the reservoir is not easy to clean.
