[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because it was a newer model and my old one stopped working. I find it very difficult to remover the water bin and put it back in. You need both hands and a foot pr two as it is on wheels and has to go in perfectly straight.

We brought this item home last night and unpackaged it. As far as I can tell now, we like it. The other one we had had for over 30 years and was starting to ice up. This one is more attractive, a better design and seems a little quieter. We purchased for our basement playroom that will get musty when we have a lot of rain if we don't use the dehumidifier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought new house last year and don't know how to maintain basement and so it became very humid and started giving bad small, sticky floor, and mold on the wall and corners. As recommended by my friend, I bought FAD504DWD and installed in the basement. I have seen significant changes in the basement condition. Floors became dry and non sticky, bad small is gone and walls and corners became dry. The dehumidifier automatically shut off at desire level of humidity and again starts based on setting. It has continues drainage also. Only issue I have noticed is fan noise. It is little higher than expected. But because I am using it in basement, I am fine. I would highly recommend this product to the friends. Also note that this is energy star rated and you may eligible for rebate from the utility company. I received $25 rebate from ComEd in Illinois.

When it was first installed, it ran continuously but now maintains the set percentage. Since it is in the crawl space of our new house addition, we don't see it on a regular basis, but it seems to be pretty quiet, too. I would probably rate it at 5 stars if we had it longer.

This dehumidifier is so much better than the previous brands I was using! It really pulls water out of the air and does it quietly. I like that it shows me the actual humidity when I turn it on and as it dehumidifies. It's easy to empty, which is a big plus!

I have had this about a month and it has done a wonderful Job.. I had another brand before this one and I like the appearance much better and also runs so much cheaper than the old one. And that it does the job of taking the moisture out of the house... Love it...

My new Frigidaire dehumidifier needed to be emptied within 10 hours and again in about 10 hours . If kept closed it only needs emptied every three days with the humidity set at 55 % . Great appliance .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own 2 of these in fairly damp basements and they are very good. I purchased one in May 2020 and it works just fine but I have 2 complaints. 1. The check filter light comes on frequently but the filter seems fine. Am I doing something wrong? I reset it and run the machine. 2. The tub that collects the water is VERY difficult to reinsert. I literally have to push and then slam it back in. Other than that, this was reviewed in Wirecutter as the best and I am very happy.

It is far superior in all aspects - quieter, faster, and the room actually is drier and no longer smells “like a basement”. The reviews were right - this is a superior product.
