[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this dehumidifier and even happier with the customer service that I received when I had a problem with my four year old dehumidifier - it was promptly replaced! The new one is running perfectly. It's quiet and easy to empty the water from it (I save the water rather than use the hose option).

I have gone through numerous dehumidifiers in the past years. So far the Frigidaire unit has performed remarkably compared to unit I have gone through. I have not experienced any frost (ice) buildup on the coils at all at the start of the season which is a first for me.

It's very quiet, and you don't even know it's there working. The very best thing is the continuous drain feature...empties right into the sump pump! I don't have to go up and down the basement stairs everyday anymore to dump out the bucket, like I did with the previous dehumidifier. It's great!

Full-featured Model FAD504DWD operates very quietly in basement. Self-drain feature works flawlessly since unit is located near sump. Previously owned two non-Frigidaire dehumidifiers with electronic controls which failed after three years. Can one hope that this Frigidaire model will perform for 8-10 years before a breakdown, like those of twenty-five years ago when the controls were manual and the compressors were manufactured domestically?

This took the smell away within 2 or 3 days and pulled a ton of moisture out of the air ! Couldn't believe how many times I had to empty the bucket in a couple days !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this dehumidfier for 1 month to replace an old one in my basement. It's working efficiently and maintaining the humidity perfectly. My only critical comment is that it's a little tricky sliding the basket back in after emptying it but not a serious problem. I'm very happy with its' performance so far

Our boiler had recently been replaced but we were still having trouble with the basement heating. The humidifier was apparently not working. I did not know enough to replace it and so relied on Internet reviews. Your dehumidifier has reduced the humidity to acceptable levels (from 90%) and has modulated the heat in the basement. Needless to say, in Buffalo, heating concerns are critical. We are pleased with the results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit about two months ago and the unit has performed well from the day I turned it on. We have a new home with a large basement in a very humid climate. Our basement conditions were about 68F and 75% relative humidity. With the unit operating, our conditions are 73F and 50% relative humidity. The basement is much more comfortable and I'm much less concerned about mold. No drama, no problems, the unit just does its job!

The dehumidifier works well. It was easy enough to set up and operate. The only thing I am disappointed with is the length of the power cord. It says not to use it with an extension cord, so I am limited in where I can place it. Cord is maybe 4 or 5'.

I bought this dehumidifier to replace one that was two years old and I've been very satisfied with its performance. I immediately noticed how the humidity level in the basement improved. I have it draining into the sump pump drain, but I do check it daily to make sure all is well.
