[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product in Dec 2016 and it performed very well until a month ago when I got a display notice "EC" which I was not able to clear so I called Frigidaire and was told that my unit could be replaced and that they started that process. I can only say that Frigidaire stands behind their products and I will again buy their products when shopping for an item.

When we need to replace them (which is not very often) we get the next latest model. We love them! They are easy to use, clean and they are fairly quiet. I would highly recommend.

I bought this for the extreme dampness in our basement . I couldn't believe the difference in the air quality within 3 days! I have breathing problems and the dampness caused me inability to be in the basement. The change in the environment has allowed me to be in the basement without a breathing problem!! I am extremely pleased with my purchase!❤️

I bought this for my basement laundry area, attached a hose so water goes down the drain, and it has worked almost perfectly. A light on the panel, "clean filter" came on almost immediately. I checked the filter - new - no cleaning needed, yet the light remains on. But - so far no problems.

We bought this during the height of summer when our AC was having some issues. It really helped keep the house comfortable and prevented damage to our wood floors and furniture. It has worked tirelessly in our humid environment, and we are very glad to have bought it. We're not sure the hygrometer is accurate - we have two independent ones that register different (higher) humidity readings, but we just let it run all the time anyway, so this isn't an issue for us. It certainly pulls a lot of water out of the air!

This unit is very quiet. Since we've had it, we have had no water issues in our basement! I would highly recommend this dehumidifier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dehumidifier has changed our lives! The size is perfect for our basement, and it is easy to move around. It's very quiet, and you don't even know it's there working. The very best thing is the continuous drain feature...empties right into the sump pump! I don't have to go up and down the basement stairs everyday anymore to dump out the bucket, like I did with the previous dehumidifier. It's great!

Having been through several dehumidifiers, all of which died within months, I'm absolutely thrilled with this Frigidaire model. It's quiet, easy to set up, easy to clean, effective, and Lord, it's even attractive! Within minutes, we could tell that the basement was beginning to dry out. Within 24 hours, all mustiness and dankness disappeared from the basement. Feels like a miracle! We are so pleased!!

I have only had this unit for a week, however I can attest to the fact that it works well. I used it in a basement area that had been flooded slightly. The unit removed 6 tanks of water over the course of 3 days and the damp, musty smell is nearly gone. That alone would have me rate the machine a 5! It remains to be seen whether the unit will be energy efficient as stated. Also, since it is in a basement, I do not hear the unit running and in fact had to put my kitchen timer on to remember to check it occasionally. The unit will turn off when the bucket is full.
