I was pleased to read the instructions copyright by Electrolux in 2009. Thus the product has been a success for at least five years. It is doing a nice job, keeping my humidity at 55 degrees. With the fan on high the water bucket fills up and the fan turns off during the night. So I run the fan on low when I go to bed and the unit is still running in the morning. My biggest concern was that FedEx left it outside my door, without ringing my door bell, so when I found it, the box was up side down. I took dehumidifier out of the box and set it upright and waited until the next day to start it running. It works very well.

My family just moved to the mid-west from Ca. Not having any experience with moisture eve,r we had no clue what to expect. This dehumidifier worked like a charm! Our whole lower lever was not only dry but began to smell better too with in the first three hours. Totally would recommend this machine.

It's only been a couple of weeks, but so far I am happy with the de-humidifier. MINE does NOT BLOW HOT AIR, and the fan on HIGH SPEED is quiet! I never used the "bucket" but attached a hose immediately and ran it to the nearby drain. A couple of the reviews made me nervous, but MINE works as I wanted it to!!! PERFECT!

So far, works great. Will be very impressed if the dehumidifier lasts longer than 3 summers of use. Have tried many different manufacturers' dehumidifiers and none seem to last very long in recent years. The dehumidifier is used in the summer in our basement (which is not super damp).

So far we are very happy with this product. Our first concern is that it was delivered, left on our stoop and a massive rain storm soaked it, but it started up no problem. I think our only issue is that it fills fast and we do not have a drain in our basement, we could have bought the larger one but I would never have been able to lift the water container to empty it. I think it would be better if I could put a hose on it and feed the hose through the basement windows unfortunately I do not think it has the power to push the water up 4ft through the hose to the window.

I just opened it a few days ago and as of right now it is working amazing. I used it initially in my garage because it was so humid and wet in there that my dry wall was wet along the concrete. I could feel a huge difference in a matter of 2-3 hours when I went to go check on the bucket. It's super quiet so I have it running on my first floor now and it will be going in my basement tomorrow. I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend this to anyone!

I purchased 2 Danby dehumidifiers from another vendor and had problems with the garden hose connection. On a recommendation from a relative, I purchased this one and I'm very happy so far. The hose is easy to connect and doesn't leak. It's doing a great job so far. My only wish is that it was like my previous dehumidifier and would shut off when the room reached the proper humidity, saving on energy costs.

This is used in a large crawl space and does a good job of keeping the humidity level in the comfort range. The water container design could have been better as you have to be careful to avoid spillage when emptying into a sink or toilet. A minor inconvenience in an otherwise very well functioning dehumidifier.

Humidity in our master bedroom sometimes goes over 80%, usually over 70%. It drops the high humidity below 65% (depends on the desired humidity we set in the machine) within an hour. One drawback would be that it seems it is quite sensitive to the humidity change when it reaches to the set humidity and sometimes continuously on and off (on time lasts a couple of seconds and off again) to keep the humidity, I guess. We turn it off when it reaches our desired number and acceptable humidity lasts overnight.

I will never use Walmart on line again. It took two hours and four tries before I actually received a confirmed order with a confirmation number. The next day I received four email confirmations and ended up with two deliveries. After refusing one, I had to wait until it was returned to Walmart before credit was issued to my credit card. Very frustrating to iron out. Their web site needs lots of help!!
