Good Product

We have had this for about a month and so far so good. It's efficient and quiet. When researching which one to buy, this model had good ratings on numerous websites. I'm so glad one reviewer mentioned the handle on the reservoir; I now know how convenient it is to have. A full reservoir is heavy and ease of emptying is important. Now I wonder why all makers don't have a handle.

Very quiet and reliable unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought this unit for my new house with a finished basement. plugged it in and set the humidistat and she started humming. I am draining it into a sump so I do not need to empty the tank. Sometimes I need to walk up to it to see if it is running. I have a humidity/thermometer in the other room and it has been very comfortable.

Quiet and Reduced Energy Bill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 22 year old dehumidifier's coils froze while being used in the cellar. Looking back now, I am glad it broke because the newer ones have more features plus they conserve on energy and indicate the existing humidity which takes the guess work out of choosing an appropriate setting.

Amazing product!!

I bought this for the extreme dampness in our basement . I couldn't believe the difference in the air quality within 3 days! I have breathing problems and the dampness caused me inability to be in the basement. The change in the environment has allowed me to be in the basement without a breathing problem!! I am extremely pleased with my purchase!❤️

Works Great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a 70 pint capacity dehumidifier I had that was not working correctly. Since I received this new one it has been working great. It pulls water out of my finished basement all day long. My basement now feels so much more comfortable.

Works super

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We live In an apartment in Florida where it can be extremely damp especially in summer. We bought this product about a month ago to put an end to the dampness we were experiencing. Used just as the directions said leaving it on the continuous setting for a week. Everyday during this time it was pulling 25-30 liters of water. We are so happy with how the product works and it's sleek design. We are looking forward to many years of living in a damp-free environment.

Exactly what we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this during the very humid summer in Boston for my 760 sqft basement-level condo. It took the humidity down from 70 to 45 over a few days running it for 4-6 hours at a time. While the air it put out was warm, my regular air conditioner cooled the air so I had a cool and dry home while outside was hot and humid. It especially came in handy when I needed to re-paint a wall during that weather! I'm very pleased with the functionality and efficiency of the dehumidifier. The wheels make it highly portable (different rooms of the house for focus points) and the bin holds more than a night's accumulation of water so I could empty it every morning and maintain a convenient schedule.

Works perfectly!!!

I purchased this 2 months ago for my damp, finished basement. The previous dehumidifier was marginal at best. This machine works well, dehumidifying my basement with no strain, and it even operates with less electricity. Very efficient!! The filled container also removes and reinstalls very easily. The old machine was a struggle to empty.

1st time buying a dehumidifier

I check several reviews of dehumidifiers anywhere they sold dehumidifiers, and this brand was always top rated, and this model or the 70 pint model was the preferred choice,......which is how I ended up buying this particular dehumidifier,.....I have used it for 2 weeks now with no problems,........I have lowered the humidity from 70 percent down to 40 percent in a 800 sq ft area with a concrete slab foundation,.......the noise level is the same as a window air conditioner,.......the fan will run all the time if the unit is turned on, but the compressor will cycle on and off as needed to achieve the set humidity level,.......I don't notice much difference with the air temp coming out, but it is slightly warmer, but is relative to the temp of the air going in,........it is easy to operate, empty the bucket, and to clean the air filter,.......I hope this helps anyone else

Great product

It fills every day and my wife uses the water for her plants on the deck and porch! I do not understand why people are surprised it puts off heat. It is a refrigeration unit and has a hot and cold coil. It is basically a window unit sitting inside redesigned to remove moisture instead of cooling an area. Just use common sense and do not put it near your thermostat and keep the humidity level 55% or lower. This is due to the fact mold cannot grow unless it is 60% or above. Sometimes if the humidity is in the very low range, say 40%, you can dry out nasal passages and create sinus problems. Great unit and we are very pleased, hope the information above is of good use. Thanks
