KEEPS OUR SUNROOM AT JUST THE RIGHT HUMIDITY PLACED AT. SINCE PURCHASE TWO MONTHS AGO ALL THE MOLD AS STOPPED AND WE WERE ABLE TO RESTORE OUR FURNITURE PLACED OUT IN THE SUNROOM. THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATION WERE EXACT. I HAVE NOT NOTICED ANY SUFFICIENT INCREASE IN OUR ELECTRIC BILL SINCE USING THE FRIGIDARE 50. PERFECT SIZE FOR A SUNROOM

My previous dehumidifier (another brand) only worked about two years and started leaking and could not be fixed. I bought the Frigidaire based on reviews and have only had it about three weeks. It is sturdy and well designed and works well. If it lasts more than a couple years, it will deserve the five star rating. I love that it is NOT continuous run like most dehumidifiers. It is being used in a basement that gets humid in the summer. So far, I would rate it a very good product. The only con is that it does not come with a hose, but that is an easy add.

I bought this hoping to get a dehumidifier that was middle of the road. That is exactly what it is. It works great, basement was dry feeling within the first 2 days. It takes a ton of water out of the air in a relatively short period of time! The only thing i would change is the design of the container pour spout. It doesn't really have one and tends to pour all over when I try to dump it down our floor drain. Yes, there is an automatic drain that I could plug a hose into, i just haven't bought one! Overall, i'm very satisfied.

I've had this product for about a month and have nothing but compliments. I have it in the basement, and my basement smells better during this humid time in Missouri. I empty two buckets a day and it's time to attach a hose instead because I can't keep up with the efficiency of this dehumidifier. My friends are also sold. Bravo, Frigidaire!

so far so good on the effectiveness,the quietness and ease of use on the Frigidaire dehumidifier. I do wish that the unit would automatically shut on and off with a timer and not having to set the timer manually. Also, I wish the unit would turn off when the desired humidity is reached. Will get a second unit for the basement this year.

After flooding issues in our house I was advised to pick up a de-humidifier. I read good reviews about the Frigidaire and bought it. I have been amazed at how much moisture it pulls out of the air. Very good unit that has worked perfectly for months.

I made my online purchase of this item on Oct. 7th (based on the MANY favorable reviews) and received the unit on Oct. 9th. I m astounded at the efficiency of this dehumidifier; it most certainly exceeded my expectations. It's quiet, efficient, easy to set up and above all it took 15% of the excess humidity in my home out in less than 8 hours! I would heartily recommend this dehumidifier to anyone with a humidity issue!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this for several weeks and it's doing OK. I think that the reservoir is a little heavy to empty and it's also difficult to pour out without some splashing, The handle on the reservoir is helpful.

Using it in below grade finished basement where there are separate rooms for entertainment, small bedroom and bathroom along a hallway. We have it setting in the latter, so by leaving doorways open all areas get ventilated. Humidity is nicely controlled. Unit is easy to empty. Sound level is comparable or perhaps a bit more quiet than similar products.
