I bought two Frigidaire dehumidifiers less than three years ago with “5 year Warranty”. That's great but when they both stop with a FO code, so you clean and reset the filter, open the housing to vacuum and blow the coils. Then call customer service that tells you to report it on the website that tells you to call customer service, etc. I bought these two units to replace the faulty ones while I try to get through. I guess COVID19 shutdown the website AND Customer Service.

I wanted to hook up a 3/8 plastic tube from the dehumidifier to a vanity drain which was 7 feet high. It did not work. You actually have to use the size of a garden hose in order for it to operate properly therefore the pump wasn't worth the extra money. My basement by the way has no floor drain

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't realize how much moisture was in my house but had found some mold along the bottom of my walls and in my closets close to the floors and cleaned and got rid of it at the same time I got this dehumidifier and I haven't had any issues with it and have noticed a big difference in the way the floors feel and the air to as it doesn't feel thick and sticky anymore. It is easy to take the bucket out and dump the water or you can run a hose to it for a continuous drain I just haven't tried it as it's not hard to empty it by hand. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone that's needing to get moisture out of the home building or shop. It's quiet about like hearing you're air conditioner running.

MY FIRST AND ONLY DEHUMIDIFIER (1962 WESTINGHOUSE) QUIT SUDDENLY-IN APRIL.I HAVE OWNED MANY FRIGIDAIRE PRODUCTS- FRIDGES,FREEZERS AND WASHERS,AND VEHICLES WITH FRIGIDAIRE A/C SYSTEMS. SO I HAVE FAITH IN THE NAME. SO FAR THIS ITEM HAS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. I EVEN INCORPORATED A DEODERANT SYSTEM THAT USES THE DEHUMIDIFIER TO DISPERSE THE FRAGRANCE THROUGHOUT THE BASEMENT.NOW WHEN YOU DO LAUNDRY OR WORK IN THE BASEMENT-NO HUMIDITY AND A SCENT OF FRESH PEACHES . GREAT PRODUCT-QUIET,EFFICIENTAND WITH USER- FRIENDLY FEATURES.

In appearance it is identical to one that I had several years ago that Frigidaire warned of a fire hazard, and had to be taken out of service (and they replaced it with another). This new one appears to work very well - and is really quiet.

I was having issues with increased moisture in the house. Turns out the hot water heater had busted BUT even in the midst of that this dehumidifier did an amazing job getting the moisture out of the air while everything was being fixed. Highly highly recommend this

There's a light to show when it's full, and a light to show when to clean the filter - so it's very easy to glance over and see if it needs attention.

This thing worked astonishingly well for our one-bedroom apartment. Living against a hill on the backside of a Seattle apartment, we had a serious mold-inducing humidity problem. Three days after plugging this in, you wouldn't know there was ever a problem. Well, except that we empty a container full of water every other day. The humidity problem would return in a hurry if not for this product. Highly recommended for its price category.

In this area, there have been an inordinate number of very strong and very heavy rain storms this spring and summer. Our basement always takes in some water even when it rains lightly, however these storms brought so much rain that we had more water in the basement than usual. This dehumidifier took care of all the water and moisture in no time at all. The large collection bin is a god send. Only had to empty it a few times. Best thing is how quiet it is. Our last unit sounded like an eighteen wheeler warming up in the basement. All-in-all, best dehumidifier I've ever bought.
