My wife recently had a service performed at the dealer on our 2018 Audi Q5. They mentioned that the tires were worn to the wear indicators. They don't come with a deep tread when new, but we only have 30k miles on them with a supposed 60k mile warranty!? Had great luck with Michelin tires in the past and these performed well when new. Now they have no side grip whatsoever in even the lightest snow. We also rotate every 5k and are very easy drivers. Came across the below reviews with same views as mine, while searching for different replacement tires. Very disappointed in treadwear.

At 1 yr tires are down to 3/32 depth of 8/32, with 20k mi. on a 60k mi. tire. Vehicle not handling well, sliding at stops, spinning at slow acceleration in wet or snowy weather, hydroplaning in rain & sliding around corners in snow at this tread depth.

Purchased 33k miles ago for our Honda Pilot. We chose these tires based on the strong recommendation of the tire salesman and on prior great experiences with Michelin on several of our cars. These tires have always handled well, and without excessive road noise. They have always been properly inflated, and rotated regularly. I'm really disappointed in the lack of durability. I cannot recommend to anyone who values value. , and already down to the wear indicators

My wife and I recently purchased a set of MICHELIN Premier LXT for our 2010 Mitsubishi Endeaver. We do some urban driving in Central Florida, and can expect frequent heavy rains. We also take trips envolving a lot of highway miles. We are most impressed with the soft feel, the smooth quiet ride, and great control on wet pavement.

Tires are quiet and handle well smooth as glass on the highway. Ice and snow performance are good. When new the performance was good. Now at 29K miles and they are worn to 4/32 and my tire shop says they are not safe to rebalance due to wear. These only start with 8.5/32 tread very shallow IMHO. Not a 60K mile tire in my experience. I've run michelins all my life, dozens of sets on trucks and cars and bicycles and this is my first bad experience with a tire. I've had three sets of LTX MS and ATs on my truck and they have all been great. Defender LTX on my Honda now and love them. The premier is expensive and short lived. 255/55R18 on Mercedes ML500.

Put 86,000+ miles on a set of these tires without one single problem. However, they were rotated every 5000 mile and the proper air pressure was maintained. They ware 7 years old with safe tread but were starting to show some ozone cracking. Replaced them with the same model Michelin tires.

I first tried Michelin in 2001, got over 100,000 miles out of the first set. Currently have them on all of our vehicles and they can't be beat for comfort, handling, quiet. Have driven them in all weather conditions, sudden stops, quick turns and there's no other tire I'd feel safer using.

I like the way the tire handles, rides and quietness HOWEVER, the tread-life isn't even close to what is advertised. Michelin charges for a premium tire but it wears like a low end tire. Plan on getting about 30,000 miles out of this tire. I had these 285/45R22 tires on a 2016 Yukon and got about 30,000 miles out of them till I was on the wear bars. This was a mix of country road and highway driving.

I purchased these in December 2016 for my 2013 Mazda CX-9. Now July 2019, I am planning on replacing them with only 29k miles since they are completely worn. I am a father of 3, non-aggressive driver, and completely disappointed with Michelin tires. I had the same issue with Michelins on my 2002 Honda CR-V. Although they offer better grip and handling than most competitors, I do not feel that they are worth the premium price based on the short life provided. I will be replacing them with a different brand.

I have always put Michelin tires on my SUVs. I made the mistake of buying these tired and they have worn out with only 1/2 the warrantied mileage on them. I have also gotten 2 punctures. When the AAA tow truck came to put the spare on, he said, “These tires are no good”. I was astounded. These are not the Michelin tires I am used to. Stay away!!
