Opened the box, plugged it in and was immediately recognized by my network. One of the easiest wi-fi printers I have ever used. All my devices interact with printer seamlessly. This is my second Brother printer and will always be my first choice in the future.

I participated in a market research study and received a product to evaluate. We just lost our printer of 7 years and needed a new one. It was hard settling on a new printer that had features we were used to and new features we could learn to love. This printer has been a great experience thus far. Shipping: The package came in a secured box with no signs of damage. I was really nervous about that since we`ve had negative shipping experiences.Assembly: It literally took me 30 minutes to have the printer from the box and onto my office desk, ink inserted. The Manual made it easy to understand and inserting the ink was an easy 1-2-3 step. Usage: Printing is an easy task. The scanner works well to provide clear copied pages. The fax machine had a bit of trouble connecting in the beginning but some time going over the manual solved the issue. Printing colored pages is also a breeze.Problems: My only real issue is that there is no backup for if your wifi connection is interrupted. I had an issue with my router and couldn`t print my pages because of it. There is no USB cord that connects printer to computer nor does it have bluetooth. When I did settle the issue with my router however, it worked fine. Compared to the other popular brands along with my last printer, I have to say I`m satisfied with this one. The look is very professional and the design is great as it`s easy to pop in ink cartridges, scan both sides of a page, has a moveable display screen and is compact with storing pages (not to mention that I can store so many pages in at a time).A great choice for my home office.

The MFC-J775DW printer is very quiet, efficient, and a perfect size. Excellent quality of resolution and colors. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a fully capable home printer. This is a big improvement over my previous printer of a brand that shall not be named. Great value, quality, and price.

The initial set up process was a little lengthy and the printer had to self clean three times before it was ready to print. On my desktop computer, the program was easy to install. Once installed, I was able to print with ease. The pages print relatively quickly and the printed pages look great. The device is supposed to air print from a mobile device, but I was not able to get anything to print from my mobile phone. I think it is because I have multiple routers for Wi-Fi.

It was fairly easy to set up and connect through WiFi to the computer (and I`m not a tech person!). It`s not as quite as my laser printer, but the quality of print is very good. I`m printing multiple worksheets for my math classes and colors come out bright and sturdy. Ability to make copies/scans comes very handy too. The only (minor) complain is that it`s a bit cumbersome to add more paper (you have to take small part out, reach for the tray, then put it all back correctly). Paper tray can only fit 100 pages, which is on a low side (imo).

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion.The Brother MFC-J775DW XL All-in-One Multi-Function Printer was definitely an upgrade from the home printer I owned. (1) First, the printer was wifi enabled so I do not have to connect my laptop to the printer by a wire anymore. That was huge. I believe most printers now are wifi enabled and buying a printer going forward, it would have to be wifi enabled. (2) Has an app that can be downloaded on your phone so it allows mobile printing. That is pretty awesome! So much is going on my mobile, I can print tickets, bank info, articles, etc. from my phone which I am always on (3)The printing is faster than my older Canon Ink printer (4) I can print 2 sided automatically instead of having to manually flip the page when prompted by the PC. The Brother MFC-J775DW XL All-in-One Multi-Function Printer takes care of it (5) When there was a paper jam, the display screen provides great instruction on how to resolve the issue, and (6) Lastly, the Brother printer comes with 3 sets of black and color inks. That is a good bonus!Even though I was excited about a new printer, I have to admit that (1) I didn`t care for the manual installation of the printer itself. It was frustrating at times. I felt instances when I thought I will break the printer because I was pushing too hard or yanking the wrong thing. The instructions were not thoughtfully clear. Moreover, there are 4 different setup sources, one a super basic setup that has very little value, a second that is a bit more informative but instructs you to the third or fourth sources: the book manual and the online manual. I had to go to all the sources to set up the printer. Also when using the book manual or online manual, you have to find the relevant sections. (2) I don`t like the paper insert; it is positioned awkwardly. (3) the little pull out that prevents the paper falling when printing is flimsy and awkward, and (4) I have small fingers and the display buttons are small for me. Overall, I think it is a great modern day home printer that offers free ink.

The printer works well, and provides good text and graphics. Has good access for replacing ink and clearing paper jams. The scan function works well, but the PageManger software has limited tools for correcting contrast, brightness and color. I would also prefer to have a rear feed for things like envelopes rather than having to replace the regular letter paper.

There are many features that I like about this printer. The print quality is outstanding in black and white while the color prints are very good, too. The size of the printer does not take up a lot of desk space. The two-sided printing feature is very much a convenience. The printer utilities bundled with the machine are excellent and easy to work with. I never use the fax capability but the scanner and the printer both perform well. The control panel is easy to work with and read. I also like the potential to only replace the ink color that is depleted instead of an entire three color cartridge. I am not a heavy printer user (this is only my third one since 2002) but this is the best one so far.

I have a home office and print a lot for my business. I need a printer that can handle printing without jamming or running through ink. I also need a printer that can print out stuff for school projects for my two kids and have it look presentable. I also occasionally print out pictures. I was replacing a much older multi-functional printer so it has been some time since I set up a printer. Set up was straightforward with a Wifi option. I am not tech-savy and I was able to set it up in under 5 minutes. I like all the labeled buttons and the display screen in color. I first thought the display was a touch-screen, which it is not. To enter on the display screen, you have to enter numbers or click around to get the right item.I have used the scan feature, printed copies and printed pictures. All are a great quality without using a ton of ink. I really enjoy the paper feeder option versus only having a cartridge but it does have both. I think this printer will be around a long time and have really enjoyed a super easy printer that just installed and does what it is suppose to do.

I was a little fearful of setting up a WiFi printer, but this was so easy I had it up and printing in less than 15 minutes. It prints fast and clear, great paper tray underneath, and love the cartridges that front load. I'm really happy with my printer.
