Grub Ex does work. I have used it for a number of years and it will kill those grubs.

I have had problems with moles in my backyard for several years. I have tried many products in the past and I have had varying degrees of success. I was told to try this product in late Feb/Early March. So far I have had excellent results. I treated on area and left another area of my lawn untreated. I definitely saw a difference between the untreated area and the treated area. I would definitely recommend trying this product. In fact I am going to get another bag of GrubEx to treat the untreated area right now. Hope this helps anyone.

i have been using Scotts® GrubEx®1 for Two years, i followed the application instruction but this year application was totally useless, Grub damaged huge area of my lawn this year, extremely frustrated and disappointed, i trusted Scotts GrubEx1 but now my beautiful lawn is damaged.

After switching from a lawn service to managing my own lawn, I had a problem with grubs due to lack of experience in treating my lawn. I applied Scotts Grub-X and the problem was resolved. Since then, I apply it annually and the problem has not reappeared.

I had a lot of yellow spots in the yard, one application using a broadcast spreader not only drove out the grubs, but the skunks who were digging in the yard to get the grubs, too. Excellent product which I use once a year as a preventative measure now.

I bought the smaller package for 5000 square foot lawn. I use the Scott's brand drop-type spreader set to 5 1/2 like the instructions say. When I opened the bag and saw how fine the granules are, I questioned whether 5 1/2 is the correct setting. But I went ahead and did it anyway. It didn't even last 1500 square feet and the whole bag was gone. I know there's nothing wrong with the spreader, because I had just used it the day before on the neighbor's yard with Scotts #1 Crabgrass Preventer and it worked perfectly.
