It's so unfortunate that the reviews for this great lil' guy suffered so horribly from a bunch of angry people posting about their missing USB cords. Honestly, are they angry at the printer? Seems as though they're ranting and yelling with no plot line, cause they're angry at themselves. I'd be angry at myself too if I didn't have to basic logical ability necessary to pick up the phone and handle the missing USB cord with either the Brother company itself, or the Best Buy store or online chat options! Why in Gods name would you run out and order or purchase the missing USB cord yourself, AND come write grammatically inept reviews about the missing USB cord? In that time, you could've requested a replacement cord from Best Buy, or telephoned the Brother Corp for a replacement cord, or both, and eaten lunch while day dreaming about all the beautiful black and white pages this baby is gonna print for you when you get your cord! Seriously, this prints accurately, swiftly, and quietly. Brother never disappoints, and it's so nice to have the option for a more basic option to fill the void in the market for a fantastic, monochrome, compact laser printer. For the price point, you absolutely will not find anything with better performance and functionality. Even in the next tier up, if I was willing to some $75-100 more, I'd still land on this one! Hope everyone had as good as an experience as I did! Oh, and p.s., mine came without a USB cord.

I find sufficient toner to print beautifully, yet the printer won't let me continue to print at my descretion, stating it need to be replaced. I didn't have that problem with my previous Brother printer. I should be able to use the toner until I determine it is empty. Toners are not cheap and it is a waste of money to replace when there is still adequate toner left in the cartridge. Also, the manual feed doesn't grasp the paper evenly all the time and reprints are necessary. I find that it is slower that my previous unit. I am thinking that 2-sided printing slows the unit down. I would not purchase another of any brand that prints 2-sided after this experience. My last Brother lasted almost 6 years. It was a great printer. I didn't replace 'apples with apples' so I want to be fair. I would recommend this printer. It is a good value. I should have purchased something more similar to what I had.

As the AR/AP Specialist in our office, I do a LOT of printing on a daily basis. I needed my own small printer because I spent a good portion of my day jumping up and down grabbing things off of our main printer. This little printer does NOT disappoint! It prints clearly and the toner has a high yield. I definitely recommend this printer!

Love this printer! It was very easy to hook up to my computer and to get it running. No problems at all. I like the compact size of it. Does a great job of printing and the documents are sharp and easy to read. When we need another printer, I would purchase this one or a Brother similar to it.

The toner cartridges last a very long time and prints more pages than what is stated. I wish I purchased this printer ages ago. You will not be disappointed with this one.

This is the best printer that have ever owned. I have HP printers for years now but they always end up breaking after about a year of easy use. Bought this printer and have had not problems. Always quick and easy so fancy settings for do-dads just straight forward great quality. Would recommend to anyone needing a printer.

Bought this not realizing it was not wireless, decided to try it out. It works great. And the fact that my computer is now wired to it is no problem. Makes it even handier to use. Starts fast, pops out copies faster. Great little printer (and double-sided too).

Unfortunately, in the 3-4 weeks I have had the printer, I have never been able to print anything. The printer only prints the demo sheets and/or combines with other single printed sheets. Really frustrating. I have not been able to print any documents (i.e. bank statement, confirmation of orders pending, etc.)

Brother is an excellent printer, my husband has an DCP-L 2540DW, I have an HL-L 2370DW, bought October 2019, but the ink cartridges are way to expensive , so that is why I bought the HL-L 2300d, I had an 2300 for years and the drum went out. When I replaces it with the 2370 did not know I needed to buy a different ink cartridge. To bad I am stuck with a great machine only 7 months old. I work mortgages out of my home and do a lot of printing.

Got this because my other printer died. I just needed something simple, no color and small footprint and needed to work with my Mac. This one covered all the bases. It's compact, easy to set up, uses only one large cartridge, black ink only, it's fast and the print quality is excellent and the price was great. I'm am extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this product.
