I wish the pictures would be sharper. Setup is reasonably simple, but I have not set up the FAX yet - an initial attempt did not work out well. I need to read the manual which I have loaded down to my computer

I haven't had that many printers before, but this one is surely the best I've ever used. The photographic printing is quite nice, and the black and white printing is faster than that of my previous machines.

I went from Hp to Epson to Brother. Brother is the best in terms of convenience, ease of use, and ink conservation. I recommend all Brother printers for whatever operation you might endeavor.

I previous had a Canon Pixma all in one. I replaced it with the Brother MFC-J985DW. The Brother is easier to use and very user friendly. The print quality is good and the scans are excellent

This machine was recommended by a friend and took his word. Works well. Wish it had a top loading feed, but I didn't notice that when I purchased it.

The overall operation is excellent however there is only one problem, for some reason ,the cartridges are not always recognized and have to be reinserted before it works.

Cheaply built. Sounds like it's going to die at any moment. Difficult to use. Very slow. Cannot handle more than 1 job at a time. Ready to pitch it!!!

Sorry I bought this clunker. It is miserably slow; misfeeds paper when scanning or printing and settings for scanning constantly vanish - requiring a new 'set up' every time you weant to scan even a single page.

Overall I am happy with the all in one printer. It does a great job on photos and text printing. My only complaint is that it doesn't hold a lot of paper, so we have to refill it on a daily basis.

This printer [Brother-MFC-J985DWXL} is a great printer. My one issue is that when I print a color Picture it takes between 5 to 7 minutes to print the photo.Other wise it is the perfect printer for me.
