This all purpose printer was a great up grade from our previous Brother all purpose printers. It is compact, easy to use and the quality and speed are very good.

Setup was easy and so far it's doing what I got it for. However, I have had to re-install the drivers after only about a week of use. I'm hoping this was a glitch and isn't a frequent occurrence.

Although I'm pleased with this printer/fax/scanner/copier, I miss some of the features of the older model - such as two paper trays. This, however, is a nice, all-around useful printer at an extremely reasonable price.

I have a high speed laser black and white printer and this one. I use it for scanning and color printing primarily. Although much slower than my laser, the black and white printing is very acceptable.

I was a little skeptical about paying this much for a printer, but so far it may be the best one yet. I will have to see how well it does. I love the two sided printing, it works flawlessly.

Ordered online and so far best all-n-one I've owned. Easy to use, intuitive, and by far the best value on ink use and refills , 2400 black/1200 color prints per use !

Although this machine may seem a bit more expensive up front, the savings on ink are huge, and will quickly make up the difference. Equally important, the machine has some great features, like duplex printing and copying, and good print quality.

This is my 2nd set of ink cartridges. They still don't work in my Brother MFC-J985DW printer. This is very frustrating that there is nobody available on Saturday.

Excellent build quality. Excellent document and copy print quality. Abundant features and very easy to use. Photo print quality is only fair, even on best setting. My rating and recommendation is based on everything but photo print quality. I would not recommend this product if you are looking to print high quality photographs.

it prints regular copy paper very slowly (set at normal settings), it has great trouble printing 4" x 6" photos. I went and bought exactly the paper the manual suggests, and still, it won't feed properly, only works if I insert 1 page into the feeder at a time, and it is a battle to produce photos. Good scanning and nice computer interface
