Excellent text quality and very good picture quality. The performance is better than expected for this price level printer. Would recommend to anyone look for a good all around inkjet printer.

After having comparable models from both Lexmark & Epson, I find the Brother a much more reliable and better functioning machine. I've only had it for two weeks but have no complaints to up to this point.

I could not get it to work reliabably in wi- fi mode. I just got fed up and hard wire it. It is no the best with pictures but cranks out nice color pages rapidly.

i liek that is super easy to set up, and no cables needed! ive only had it for about 1 week but ive noticed that the printer doesnt ink the pages too much which is fine with me, it looks like it doesnt waste alot of ink.

This is one of the best printers I have ever purchased. It is economical, fast and quiet. It is not bulky and can fit on the top of a bookshelf if you are in need of space.

The printer works very well. The ink has lasted me for over 4 months and it has not shown any sign of being used up quickly. I like the scanning and copy features as they are very easy to operate.

Purchased the MFC-J985DW XL from Best Buy, brought it home and set it up within minutes it was connected to my wifi and working perfectly. I don't have a phone line so am not using the fax portion of the all-in-one printer,

This printer is the best one I have ever had. It has more features with a smaller footprint than any I have found. I have limited desk space, so this is important. It is so efficient on ink, it is amazing!

The overall performance of the printer is great. I would suggest improvement in the following area; increase the capacity of the output tray, enable 2 sided copy with the automatic feeder, add duplex features for copying.
