I find the Brother Utilities not to be intuitive. For example the ControlCener4 utility does not allow you to set the printer to Black & White. I have emailed for support earlier but haven't received a reply yet. In general there the selection of utilities is confusing and not intuitive.

Text quality is good. Copying quality is not colour-accurate but acceptable. Setup was easy on both MAC and Windows systems. Paper handling for two-sided printing has been good, and the ADF works well. Much more reliable thatn the EPSON Workforce it replaced.

The print head alingment system seems very delicate compared to other Brother printers. I have had to try to clean it almost monthly since I owned it. The transparent tape is almost impossible to reach so the job is never quite good enough for acculate print alignment.

I like the size and ease of setup of the printer. Printing is much faster than my old one and the touch screen is easy to use. I did fine one thing that happen a couple days ago which was odd. The printer was off but the printer was running like it wanted to feed paper for printering; It ran for a minute and stopped. I hope that's not a sign for a future problem.

I had an older Brother All in One that was 5+ years old and now having issues with printing. I decided when my black ink was done, it was time to replace with a newer, smaller, Brother All in One. After reviewing other All In One products, I decided to remain with Brother and am very satisfied with my choice, especially with the size/room that it takes up on my desk.

Very light print density on font characters and printed images. Also clarity of printed images was fuzzy and not crisp and clear.

It does everything I need. It copies in black and white or color. It scans, it can fax (I don't know how), it can enlarge the object.
