This one of the worst toilet paper I have used. It's rough, not pleasant to the touch. Unfortunately we bought a huge amount at Costco, so we'll have it awhile. I can't wait until we finish it. Please discontinue this particular variety, ULTRA COMFORT.

Of all things this morning I was researching the different Cottenelle choices as our last large bunch triple roll was horrible, thin and scratchy. All rolls. I though maybe we bought the wrong selection but after coming here I realize it was what use to be a wonderful Toilet paper that we have used for over ten years. It does not even make the top three worth consumers report on cushy. Not sure what we will buy this morning but are definitely looking at other brands. What happened to your quality in the past year? We are young seniors, so we have had a lifetime to try different products but until today, it was Cottenelle for the past ten or twelve years. No more

I loved Cottonelle and it was the only paper I would purchase. Then they took away "clean care" and replaced it with "wavy". I won't buy it again unless they start selling the former "clean care" product. Hate the "wavy" - will have to find another brand, I guess.

I have been purchasing Cottonelle ultra for years and it was my brand of choice until they quit making the 4-1/2" width. Unfortunately, along with Cottonelle, almost all the brands have gone to the 3-3/4" width. I will continue to search for the 4-1/2" width and will then have my new brand of choice. It amazes me that manufacturers will provide a variety of sizes in the number of sheets but not in the width!

I see others have commented, so I will keep my complaint short and add it to the number of those who are unsatisfied. Though I love this product, I am not happy with the change. I just unknowingly purchased my first pack of Cottonelle Toilet Paper at the smaller roll size. The old rolls are 4 1/2? wide. The new rolls are shorter by just shy of ? of an inch. That is a substantial reduction! Faults: ?Roll too small for dispenser ?Sheets are now an awkward child size ?More sheets used per ?sitting? for the desired thickness (room for accidents) ?Changing rolls more frequently ?Less product means purchasing more often ?For every three packs of TP in the smaller size purchased I will only have the equivalent of about two and a half packs of product in the old size As a longtime consumer, I feel ripped off.

Cottonelle Ultra is a very good product that I've used for years, but please, no more size reductions in order to boost profits. After noticing the roll now rolls wildly back and forth on the holder, I measured the sizes of a roll from an older (but recent) package and one from the newest package. The older one was 4" x 4.125", while the newer one is 4" x 3.86"! I'd rather pay a little more for a decent size tissue. I've read several complaints on different sites, so don't bother giving the same canned response.

A clean bum is important from top to bottom. Cottonelle Ultra ComfortCare is the only toilet paper I trust for such an important job. It feels so good that I almost look forward to my next trip to the bathroom knowing that my insurance policy for a clean front- and backside is sitting humbly in the paper holder. Soft, thick, and it doesn't cause any problems with clogging the commode? Sign me up for the purple pack!

I agree with other reviewers that the size change is a fatal flaw. We are long time customers and liked the original product a lot. The smaller rolls are disappointing to say the least. I find the change devious and insulting to the customer. It is so clearly a way to save money for Cottonelle, and does not improve the customer experience. We will be looking for a new product.

I don't care if you were trying to "invest" in your product, the changes in the Ultra tissue over the last 4 years have been disappointing. I have Interstitial Cystitis and IBS, meaning TP is important to me. I've used Cottonelle for over 20 years because it was the most comfortable tissue, absorbent and didn't tear. In the last few years as you've added to your offering of tissue types and roll sizes the softness and quality of the tissue has changed. The reduction of roll width finally has moved me to try other brands again. I'm irritated with having to stand in the store comparing price, guessing comfort level and quality. I wish you'd go back to your Ultra product of 5 years ago, it was right for me. I don't like change, and it seems you will lose customers by messing with their TP. (I also never write in three - five sentences.)

You have decreased the width of 12-pack toilet tissue about one eighth of an inch, the number in s roll was also decreased. Quality of paper was wose too. You cheated on consumers. This is a very dishonest business practice. I called it " fleecing of America". I've stopped using your brand, and urged my friends to do the same.
