HARD STUFF IN MEATBALLS!!

These are sorely lacking in flavor! And what is up with all the hard pieces in the meatballs ... almost seems like little pieces of bone! Bring back Casa Di Bertacchi Beef Meatballs!!! They were Superior to the lousy Member's Mark meatballs. Not all Member's Mark products are better than the name brand products!

Thank you for your recent purchase of our Members Mark Italian Style Beef Meatballs. Your feedback is very important to us. We apologize that you experienced this issue with our meatballs. Real meat products are inherent to the possibility of bone. We purchase only deboned meat from certified meat suppliers. On occasion, a bone fragment will get by during the de-boning process. The actual bone fragmenting occurs at the raw meat processing plants during the separation of the various cuts of meat and not at our facility. We will continue to evaluate the latest technology that may be employed to eliminate bones in our meatballs. Our Operations and Quality Assurance associates will monitor this issue closely with our Production associates.

Worst Frozen Meatballs ever

Too soft: fillers in ingredients: soy and bread. How can they call these "Beef Meatballs?" Bad flavor: Meatballs should not taste like Thanksgiving stuffing. This is seasoned so strongly with sage that it cannot be used with my usual sauces (marinara or BBQ). Only fit for thanksgiving with gravy. Honestly, I tried BBQ sauce with them. The meatballs clashed with the BBQ sauce. Please bring back the Casa Di Bertacchi meatballs—they were my Sam's Club staple for years.

change in recipe

For some horrible reason, they decided to change the recipe of these meatballs. The new meatballs taste horrible. Why would you try to fix something that's not broken? Well, now it's broken. Usually when I cook these for a party, they're gone within minutes. I cooked them last night and today I have leftovers...smh

Great taste at a great price

Are these meatballs as good as the ones my wife makes? Not quite, but almost, and she makes a very good meatball. Making meatballs is very time consuming. We use these for spaghetti and for meatball subs. They taste great and have a great texture. You can't make your own for this price, either. This is a great product.

They USED to be my go to meatball.

These USED to be my go to meatballs for anything, parties, home, subs, spaghetti, stroganoff. They changed the recipe and they are awful. I was so surprised at the flavor. I never bring meatballs home from a party, I did and had to throw them out. I will never purchase them again. They are dry and have a strange flavor.

Something has changed

For a packaged meatball they are okay for taste. I'd give 4 stars but the quality seems to have gone down hill lately. There seems to be more fat/gristle/bone in the last few package that we've bought. The next batch will be cooked longer/hotter to try rendering more fat out of the meatball. We use a crock pot on low for multiple hours but we will try high to see if the "chew" is better. A heavy chew like fat/gristle is off-putting. I don't recall anytime in my life that a manufacture could prevent all bones pieces which is more acceptable to me over the gristle. Gristle/fat means they are lowering there meat standards to save money. Just charge me more; its part of inflation.

I love these meatballs ...

I love using these meatballs. Are they as good, as my own from scratch meatballs? Pretty darn close. What I love most, is that I can add frozen meatballs to my sauce and they stay round and firm. They also, add flavor to the sauce. I usually, use the 5/8 oz. size. It is just easier to serve and my family loves them. Great for the grand kids, too.

Meatball Subs for a Crowd

I recently hosted an event where I needed to make breakfast, lunch and dinner for 50 plus people. For lunch, we made meatball subs with these meatballs, and everyone was coming back for seconds. They are so good that I plan on buying a bag to keep around the house for quick meals for my family.

NEW AND DISGUSTING

These new and supposedly improved meatballs are absolutely disgusting. I wouldn't even feed these to my dog. There's to much Italian seasoning and I think I may be tasting Sage or something. Whatever it is it's strong and you can smell it when you open the bag. If I could've given a rating of 0 stars I would have. Please please go back to the original version. These should NOT be in the Freezer for sale.

Looking for a good brand

yuck

Bought these last year for New Years Eve get together. I was very disappointed. I only tried 3 and two of them had some hard bone like piece in them. The taste was not as good as I had expected. The up side is that they let me return them hassle free. I hope they bring the other brand back. This is my go to place for meatballs.
