Tasty AND Convenient

We really enjoy the flavor of these which is good considering the mountain of meatballs that come in these large bags. Love them because of the seasoning. We saute some of our homegrown tomatoes, onion, garlic and basil and throw a few of these in (after microwaving) over pasta, grate a little parmesan and end up with a very nice dinner with very little effort. Yes!

good flavor with the right sauce

I have noticed when the right sauce isn't put on these meatballs it doesn't help enhance the flavor. So I will tell you what i do. Per bag of meatballs I add to a crock pot, frozen or thawed. I usually put them in the crock the night before, so they will thaw some. Add One large bottle of good bbq sauce (baby rays, or masterpiece, etc..) add approx 1/2 cup or less dry minced onions, add 1/4 cup or less worcestershire sauce, which adds richness. that's it. Depending on how long you cook them, you can start on high, then turn to low or warm, after they are close to heated through. ** I stir them with a flat spoon or spatula every so often to rotate the cold ones in the center of the crock.

great with bbq sauce

I warm up a bag then put into a crock pot with BBQ sauce. They make a great party snack. About 5% have a bit of bone or something hard so you don't want to bite down hard.

QUICK AND EASY TO MAKE, BUT NOT GLUTEN FREE!

So here's the deal. I use to love these meatballs, but was very disappointed when Sam's changed their meatballs about a year ago. Before there was no wheat/bread crumbs used in them so they were gluten free. Now they've changed them...maybe it's cheaper to use bread crumbs than cheese to hold the meat together...but it meant that I can no longer use these meatballs to feed my whole family. I can't tell you how AWESOME it is to find something that I can fix and it will feed everyone in my family of 7. Having a few children with Celiacs I have found it is easier to fix everything gluten free when fixing dinner...these meatballs used to be one of my go to meals because it was quick and easy in the Instapot. But because of the change we have them only every once in awhile because it requires me fixing two different kind of meatballs and I like dinners that I can fix and get ready in 30 minutes or less. The meatballs are quick and easy, they are just not gluten free so I don't use them as much as I used to. I also feel the flavor and texture is different from before.

Bad Balls

These used to be good but now almost every single meatball has some sort of bone in it. Very disappointed in the quality of these meatballs now

Thank you for your recent purchase of our Members Mark Italian Style Beef Meatballs. Your feedback is very important to us. We apologize that you experienced this issue with our meatballs. Real meat products are inherent to the possibility of bone. We purchase only deboned meat from certified meat suppliers. On occasion, a bone fragment will get by during the de-boning process. The actual bone fragmenting occurs at the raw meat processing plants during the separation of the various cuts of meat and not at our facility. We will continue to evaluate the latest technology that may be employed to eliminate bones in our meatballs. Our Operations and Quality Assurance associates will monitor this issue closely with our Production associates.
