Crappie Members Mark Meatballs1

For years we have purchased Members Mark meatballs and loved them. The last two bags have been awful. I Googled to find out that you have changed the recipe and they are no longer good. Sad to say we will no longer be buying them. You started adding wheat and it ruined your meatballs! Not a happy camper!!!!!

Fatty with gristle

The beef is not lean at all, so they need to be heated in a pan on medium and drained by squeezing each meatball to get the fat out of it. They have many hard chips of gristle or bone that are hard enough to hurt your teeth on. They are only "ok". I would recommend these to a friend with caution.

A total miss and change for the worse

These new meatballs are awful. We couldn't get enough of the old ones and went through the bags quickly. We added them to tons of meals and sometimes we would just eat them separate or serve them as an appetizer. We bought one bag of these and have 3/4 of a bag left ,that will probably end up in the garbage, because not one of the five of us will eat them.

Not as good as the Casa Di Bertacchi Meatballs

I went to Sam's Club to buy the Casa Di Bertacchi Italian meatballs that I have been buying for 15 years. To my disappointment, they replaced it with this Member's Mark meatballs and it is bad compared to the Casa brand. Please bring back the Casa Di Bertacchi brand. Thank you.

A Big Disappointment

I have purchased these meatballs several times. They were delicious! I would simmer them in BBQ sauce or make spaghetti and meatballs. The last bag I purchased had so many bone fragments and hard "things" in them. I won't be purchasing them for a while.

Thank you for your recent purchase of our Member's Mark Italian Style Beef Meatballs. Your feedback is very important to us. We apologize that you experienced this issue with our meatballs. Real meat products are inherent to the possibility of bone. We purchase only deboned meat from certified meat suppliers. On occasion, a bone fragment will get by during the de-boning process. The actual bone fragmenting occurs at the raw meat processing plants during the separation of the various cuts of meat and not at our facility. We will continue to evaluate the latest technology that may be employed to eliminate bones in our meatballs. Our Operations and Quality Assurance associates will monitor this issue closely with our Production associates.

Great If You Like Bone And Gristle

I bought a bag of these for the first, and last, time this past weekend. This evening my wife and I sat down to a pasta dinner with these meatballs cooked in the marinara sauce, expecting a treat. I had a total of 8 in my serving, and 5 of them had inedible bits of bone and/or gristle approximately 3/16" of an inch in size. I was expecting a bit more flavor from an Italian style meatball as well. I will be returning the remainder to my local club on my next trip.

new but not so improved!!

We used to buy these all the time! Love how easy they were to toss in the air fryer. And the best part, only 3 net carbs per 5 meatballs. The new bag has 7 net carbs per 4 meatballs!! Also there is 20mg more sodium per serving... and 1 gram protein less... will not be buying these again!! I'd give them 0 stars if I could!

Members Mark Meatballs

I bought these meatballs just a few weeks ago. They were full of bone fragments and one meatball even had a vein sticking out of it. They were not appealing at all. I will not buy them again and I would not recommend them. I accidently tossed the receipt or I would have returned them. A waste of your good hard earned money.

Bring back the gluten free meatballs!

So mad about these meatballs!! They used to be gluten free and were the ONLY premade gluten free meatballs we could find. We would buy two bags at a time and use them all the time. We went to buy more yesterday and they've CHANGED THE RECIPE and now they have gluten in them.

so upset!!! why did they add wheat?!?!!

Why?!?!! Why did they change the recipe?! They used to be gluten free, and I could actually eat them and I LOVED these meatballs. I would buy a bunch at a time and eat them ALLL the time, and I saw they changed the packaging, so I thought I would check just in case, and I saw they added wheat!!! Now I have to find some other brand.
