I used to love Tempurpedic but too much has changed. The materials and layers are not as comfortable as they used to be and i am so very sad. I bought a Rhapsody luxe and exchanged it because i sunk in way too much. I got the contour elite and its like sleeping on the floor. I am so sorry i bought it and wish i could get another of the original Tempurpedic Deluxe models. Thats my favorite and it has also been discontinued i dont think i will ever find comfort from Tempurpedic again

The mattress has a "break in" period. After this initial period, the mattress is very comfortable. I bought a queen size and I sleep alone, so I need to sleep from one side to the next to break in the mattress. I would definitely recommend a cotton mattress cover to provide a cooler sleep. I expect to love this mattress for a long time to come.

My husband and I purchased this bed in July 2014. I must admit it took me a while to get used to it but now that I have I love it. My husband loved it from the get go! We purchased in the adjustable split CalKing. Its a lifesaver for me, as I could never sleep in the same position two nights in a row. I love having the flexibility to adjust either the head or the feet or both to suit my needs. Yes, the Tempurpedic beds are quite expensive, but I decided you cannot put a price on a good nights sleep. A great purchase.

I never believed the hype about Tempur-Pedic until I slept on one in a hotel. I came home and bought one right away. Fantastic support and very comfortable. My back, hips, neck nothing hurts me anymore. I am very pleased with this mattress and cannot say enough good things about it. This is a firm mattress, I like the softer ones too but thought this would last longer.

My guests don't need to hear about how much they're going to enjoy their nights sleep ... I get to hear in the morning from EVERYONE how wonderful they slept and how great they feel in the morning! This is my second Tempurpedic mattress and I can safely say that it is the only mattress I will ever buy. Both my husband and I have bad backs and I have sciatica. Since wehave had a Tempurpedic our back problems have improved dramatically. When my sciatic nerve begins acting up one night on my Tempurpedic takes care of it. I LOVE MY BED.

Had this mattress for 3 years and slept like a baby. However the past three months have woken with bad back pains. Was told over the years the mattress softens in the middle, so I tend to roll into the middle. My advise would be do not buy a soft mattress, buy a firmer one.

This is my second temperpedic my first one was put into my camper so I could sleep great on vacation. This one is wonderful no tossing and turning just lay down and snap ! I'm sound asleep and wake up 9 hours later with no stiffness or pain it's fantastic! I'll NEVER buy any other brand . Thank temperpedic

I was told it would take 6 months to break in this mattress. I tried walking on the mattress, kneeling on it, and I did not feel any improvements. I decided to exchange the hybrid for the original all foam soft option. It stinks as well! I've had it 2 weeks now and it still stinks. I walk on it daily before getting into bed. It is starting to break in. I think the model mattresses in the showroom offer false impressions. They've been well broken in before getting to the showroom. The one you get at home is not at all the same. Sales folks could share this information, and also warn about the stench that comes with each new mattress. It's very deceptive.

After doing a fair amount of research on which mattress would be best for eliminating lower back pain during the night and in the morning, we settled on the TEMPUR-Cloud Elite. We have had it about 3 weeks and the jury is still out on how it will work out. We are experiencing less back pain during the night, but are still stiff and have pain in the morning when we get up (We are in our 70's). Will hang in there and continue to assess.
