if you do, don't try to clean it. the black stainless finish comes off. naturally out of warranty. now the water dispenser does't work! the icemaker freezes up all the time. what happened to the days when you could plan on your appliances lasting more than a couple of years? would never buy another samsung!!!

Being Hispanic, not only do we have five children, but an extended family that is always over, meaning food and more food. I like that this fridge has a huge capacity, and the shelves are in a position to hold things in a way that it is easy to get to them. My wife is well known for stacking items on top of each other than pushing them to the back, she really can't do that with this fridge, everything is laid out so it is easy to see what is in there when you open the doors. I really like the door in door feature or the food showcase. It does what it says and basically shows you the food or drink you use most right upfront so you can take it out quickly. I like that and use it to store Gatorade and other quick-grab items, this is a really cool feature. The water in the door is great too, always having a cold water bottle in our house is difficult, usually we have half and quarter used bottles all over the house, this is helpful as now the kids can just have cold water whenever they want from a pitcher instead of standing there waiting for it to fill cups, pushing each other out of the way. Freezer has good space, I like that it has 2 shelves so you can separate food items in categories. My wife really likes the fact we don't leave fingerprints on the front of the fridge anymore. That was one of her biggest gripes was cleaning up after all of us opening the doors, so happy wife, happy household. I would recommend this to my family, I think it is a great fridge to fit a lot of items for a larger family and has good features to keep that family on the go where they can just get what they want out of it quickly without wasting time or energy. Nice capacity, great features, good fridge for the whole family.

I had to look for videos on Youtube to figure it out. Otherwise it's great. The self refilling pitcher is a bonus.

horrible refrigerator. my refrigerator is only 14 days old and i need to have it serviced. the service tech said its not worth fixing it since its new, just return it. my compressor is shot and they will try to fix it. don't fix it, because its like buying a new car and having the engine replaced.

not even a year into owning - the ice maker stopped working. then suddenly it would make ice out of the blue. the temperature of the freezer didn't seem consistent, but the tech that came out said everything was fine and couldn't find any problems. today we nearly lost everything in the freezer because even though the display reads -1, the contents were thawed. samsung customer service reads scripts and doesn't do anything with any sense of urgency. they know they have problems with the cooling and ice makers, but won't recall or refund without the customer putting up a fight. i will never buy a samsung product ever again. do not buy this refrigerator!

our fridge was included with our newly built home. within a year of owning home, the freezer started melting. we arranged samsung repair service out of our pocket. freon was identified to be slowly leaking over time. the fridge was deemed unrepairable within a year of operation. thanks samsung! i am now switching my fridge earlier than my mobile phone and left with spoiled food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are features with this appliance that my family loves. The in the door water pitcher is used by everyone, even my skeptical middle son. We use the deli drawer for all our meats and cheeses, so they're easy to find and keep fresh. The pocket door hold 2 gallon jugs of milk if you need it to. The metal "guides" are not carry handles, but are useful to keep tall things in the shelf as the door opens and closes. The small bottom shelf in that door we keep stick butter or margarine. The icemaker has never once ran out of ice, a problem we had with our previous refrigerator. We were lucky to talk to a Samsung appliance rep who was at the store we had decided to make our purchase from and asked many questions about this model. But, we had already narrowed down our selections to 4 by the time we entered the store. Our of necessity, we needed a freezer with the space designed to hold more than one box of frozen pizza and enough food for more than a few days for large family. Because of the slide drawer, we can find what we need with less searching than with traditional side by side shelves. The main shelves are sturdy and the ice maker side door shelves are useful for small bottles and such. The outer appearance enhances the look of our kitchen. To sum up, the features are all useful. The bluetooth is for using the Smart Things app and if you decide to download it, comes in handy. So far we have used this for six months. Still runs quiet and keeps cool.

It is slightly smaller than our previous unit but, there is so much more useful space inside. I love the auto refill water pitcher. The stainless steel inside really does keep temp loss at a minimum. The select a drawer is perfect for all my cheese. The led lighting is pleasantly bright. The stainless steel finish is so much easier to keep clean than our previous unit. I'm looking forward to using the wifi feature in the near future. Samsung never disappoints me. I feel this unit will last us many happy years.

We have had our new refrigerator for 2 months now. I have nothing but praises! I thought the showcase door was just a gimmick, but we really love it! Quick easy access to frequently used items. The other feature I really LOVE is the self filling water picture inside the refrigerator. I now drink much more water than soda.

PROS: Smart unit Door open reminder Has internal temp gauge displays the temperature inside Great ice and water dispenser. Excellent space inside It is beautiful! Very quiet...I've seen people complain about their refrigerator but not complaints from me on this one. Nice freezer section but tray is rather lightweight but it gets the job done. CONS: Shelves are difficult to adjust. Tall bottles must lie down. Glass shelf over inside drawers is a bear to remove. Clips on shelf break too easily.
