Amazing console. Was able to snag one through the app because it was already in my cart, just had to wait for a restock. Shipped out on Thursday, received on Sunday. Fast shipping and incredible performance from the PS5. The DualSense controller itself is evolutionary in terms of next generation gaming. I will say do NOT waste your money on this console if you do not have a TV capable of 4K HDR. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for an incredible experience as long as you have a compatible TV.

What a stunning system. This product was delivered timely and was surprisingly easy to purchase when I knew the restock was happening. The system itself is amazing. Quick load speeds, stunning graphics (resolution is amazing), steady fps and the user interface makes sense. I've only been playing Ghost of Tsushima on this new system (was waiting to pick this up because I didn't want to play on my base PS4). It has been an incredible experience. On the resolution mode I have steady 60fps and have not seen a single drop. I'm excited for when I get to playing Miles Morales, a game fully optimized for this system.

I just got my PS5 today and anyone considering buying one whenever they're available I highly recommend it. Please ignore people who are saying PC is better or the new XBox is superior, each does what it sets out to do.....allow YOU to play the games you want to play. As for the controller, it's freaking awesome and weird at the same time. Playing Astrobot you can feel the bots that jump in the onscreen controller move around in your actual controller. As for the adaptive triggers that is a nice touch, the triggers kind of lock in place during the game and you have to apply various degrees of pressure to push them all the way in. They're redesign was a great choice. Also comparing to previous PS controllers these feel like their made with quality and well worth their price tag. Also for those lying about overheating, that happened ONLY at BB kiosks because they were in an enclosed container with no air flow. With proper airflow this system is 100% fine. Now regarding the apparent bricking of them I can only say from what I've read it has to do with using an external USB drive, if it's even true. Use common sense and ask yourself would Sony or Microsoft build a new system and NOT test this feature before final production? In any case if you want a PS5 then be patient and grab one when lowlifes stop using bots to buy them all up or when companies block that kind of tactic. If you prefer Xbox cool story bro, go get your xbox and enjoy the heck out of it and if you swear by pc, then awesome. We have enough crap going on in the world right now and enough hatred for several lifetimes. Enjoy whatever you enjoy and let others do the same.

I have been on the website at all 3 launch times today, with a pc and my phone. I have struggled with this website all the way through to the checkout process just to have the site lock up long enough for me to lose my product, every time. The website needs to be modified and beefed up to handle this kind of sale... it is so maddening and frustrating. I have had it in my cart 4 times just to have it spew error codes and pages in an endless nonsensical loop.

Super happy! You have to be on the site right at launch time- google the world clock and refresh at :59:59 before the launch time and you will get one! Make sure you're logged in your Walmart account and that it has your credit card saved for fast check out. The system itself is awesome, the two fans make it soundless, it is pretty big but since it has two fans it makes sense. The controller experience is great, honestly no complaints other than lack of new PS5 games. It is worth the hype and when you can snag one, do so.

The system is great it had its new bugs but with all tech now-a-days these things can be easily fixed by a software update. (Which has been in place already) the system is great runs games from ps4 (most of them) and new ps5 titles are to continue to come. Don't let these reviews fool you. A Lot of the people are just upset because of the difficulty of purchasing or getting one is really hard to come by. But I mean come on it's next gen now of course it's going to be hard and it's on the holidays! Now just be patient more will come. Overall at this moment no cons.

To be able to make a review of the PS5 when it was very hard to acquire is awesome in its own right! I beat the bots! Not only does it look futuristic after playing the ps5 for 8 hours straight it runs super quiet, cool to the touch. Yes its larger then consoles of the past but the ps5 is still smaller than any gaming pc tower you would build so I am impressed with sonys approach to evolve its platform from a play safe design. The ps5 makes a statement in my entertainment area. Sony didnt play it safe with the controller either. Owning xbox aswell the Sony controller is definitely an upgrade over the xbox controller. If you want true next generation gaming feel and look the ps5 doesn't disappoint.

i bought both put both to the test and tested all the modes and the X series X out performed both on graphics and frame rates. xb 360 and xb1 games both look boosted and in 4k. while only the ps5 games looked good ps4 looked performed the same with slight faster load times. good news is u can play ps4 games on the ps5 and play MP with other ps4 owners. but u can also do this on XsX. disappointed ps5 doesnt have a quick resume for multiple games. If u put it in rest mode itll quick resume 1 game only. X series X allows quick resume on about every game i have 9 i flip around to on xbox dont have to stop n save it i just click on what ever i want to play of those 9 gamesand im back where i started. whether im finishing a racing game or playing some campaign in halo or back to assassins creed Valhalla it works on xbox 1 qnd xbox 360 games as well. i wish my ps5 had these options and ps4 games so far the ones ive tested look the same as on the ps4 im guessing only a handful are boosted which is sad. and y i gave the ps5 3 stars. XsX boosted all theyre games from 4 generations. and graphics are breathtaking way better then the xb1 x or xb360 or any PlayStation to date. both consoles are nice but series x outperforms in graphics and performance. ps5 has a resolution mode and Performance mode. res mode is great graphics but slow fps and movements. performance is 60 fps but grainy graphics. game default is like the middle of the 2 modes not as detailed but good looks little cartoonish but higher fps then resolution mode. good luck getting a preorder gamers for either system get both if u can if not start with the x til first party titles are more available.

I've had every PlayStation since the PS2, and this new console hands down is the best one yet! Has so many cool features, graphics, and is buttery smooth. No more slow UI with lag like the PS3/PS4. Such an awesome console with allot of potential. And it doesn't sound like a jet engine!!

After having spent close to a week with this console I can decisively say this is the best console Ive ever had! Sony knocked it out of the park with this one. I love the new controller with adaptive triggers and haptic feedback (adds another layer of immersion to your games), the new tempest audio engine works with all headsets to add 3D audio to the games (coming soon to soundbars, surround sound, and even tv speakers too), and most importantly all the games Ive tried run at either a locked 60fps with dynamic 4k, or native 4k with added graphical effects like raytracing. In summary, I could not suggest this console anymore. This is an immersive experience unlike any other and if Sonys previous generation is any guide, there will be MANY reasons to have this console in the coming years.
