Resellers are using bots to purchase all of the inventory up before any of us are able to make a purchase. Like one other person said. Supply and demand. Wait this out and you'll get your gaming system. Leave the scalpers with thousands of dollars worth of gaming systems with nobody to buy them.

Crashed in less than 2 months. As a last resort I reinstalled the PS5 software with a USB drive and 3 minutes into Returnal it totally bricked. Now I have to send it in for replacement or repair which could take weeks. Call of Duty Cold War is the likely culprit for all this so don't put that game in your console. Also doesn't support 2K, variable refresh rate, or Dolby Vision, something the Xbox Series X does right out of the box. It would also not play games in HDR at 120 Hz as it's supposed to, even with HDMI 2.1.

After I pre-ordered this item it said won't arrive till April but then after a few weeks it ship and came overnight. So the shipping was fine,the packaging is fine. BUT no screw to install the base of the ps5 so it can sit horizontal or vertical. But other than that it works fine, the only difference between Ps5 and Ps5 digital. Is ps5 digital don't have a disc tray. So if you play ps5 by disc and digital then just get Ps5. But if you play only digital get a ps5 digital. Currently reading the manual to see which screw I need. ALSO the screw hole cap of the ps5 the thing you remove to install base. Just take a screwdriver to pop it out.

Got my ps5 (disc drive version) for Walmart during the every 3 hour drops. While I cant fault Walmart for bots snatching up all the consoles it was still a very stressful and rage inducing day. With that said though the system is great. I went with the $500 one due to the $400 lack of a disc drive and how game sizes are going up having some of that load be on disc really help since as I can tell there are issues using external drive and no supported external drives on the market yet. Been gaming for over 20 years and was never one for how a game looked but now, after playing it for awhile I cant go back. There are not that many ps5 games out there so most of your gaming log will be PS4 games and a few with a ps5 update patch. Most game that supported a ps4pro approach to games (frame rate or fidelity) will have the same thing here. Some game even run better (faster load times, smoother rates, etc.) even without any sort of patch for it. You can still play with friends on the PS4 and saves should carry over. Download speeds are a lot better and overall quicker. I would say that you if plan on getting this for a on and off gamer the price point itself isnt worth it. However if this is for a true gamer then its worth the $400-$500 price point and imo worth the stress.

I have tried over and over to order this game but several times Walmart has allowed it to go in my cart to purchase and when i get ready to pay it says out of stock. I did the same thing all day!! But i read other comments where someone said they ordered 2 game systems!! Really? I don't believe Walmart really has any!! A waste of my all day trying. Hopefully my grandson will have this by Christmas

What can I say. I am a huge nerd and I am very blessed to have been able to get a PS5 this holiday season. As someone who didn't upgrade to the PS4 Pro, this is a huge upgrade. The super fast SSD beats out the HP one I installed on my 2013 launch PS4, menu's are smooth as butter, graphics are insane, and the games play amazingly. I love the controller and Astro's Playroom is an amazing experience that every Playstation gamer needs to experience. Was worried about the size of the controller, but it fits great in my small hands and the battery life is at least an hour or two better than the PS4's with rumble turned off. I have zero complaints about the system. Just waiting on a few exclusives to really grab my attention, but you receive 20 of the best PS4 games with the playstation plus collection which is enough to hold me over for a year or two. Oh, I forgot to mention it is backwards compatible with PS4 games so it makes upgrading so much easier if you wish to play your old games. Excellent buy and brings life into old games that I can finally enjoy in crisp 4K instead of 1080P. *As a side note please do not buy from scalpers. Playstation has confirmed that they have 10 million units on shipment for Q1 2021. That is only two months away and it will definitely be worth the wait.*

I feel very blessed to be able to have one at this time! The PS5 has run beautifully and so intelligently from what I've experienced, the console runs very smoothly and I have not experienced any sort of loudness with it. I do recommend when playing games, to choose performance over the resolution , is a true generational leap, offering incredibly fast load times and an innovative new controller that can change the way games feel. No complaints. We did buy an extra control so two can play. Or one to charge while one is in use

After getting this console, it brought back my younger days when I would be playing non-stop after school or after work. PS3 was okay, didn't own the PS4, but the PS5 with its fast SSD takes gaming to another level. Took about a month to get but it was worth the wait. Go get yours!

This console has been the talk and joy of 2020. Sony having their showcase first in September put a lot of pressure on Microsoft to follow. This Next Gen technology is beyond it's time! I'm so impressed that PlayStation took the chance on having a complete overhaul. This console is huge! I don't think saying it does justice until you see it.
