This is the first PlayStation Console that we have had and the initial hooking up and start up for this unit was easy and quick. The instruction manual that came with the console was clear, concise and easy to understand. After a short check for any updates and having those updates downloaded and installed the game was ready to play. This particular console seems to be very user friendly and easy to play. The remote control unit is nothing like we've seen or used in the past (xbox family.) All in all this gaming console really has exceeded expectations. Well done Sony! As for Walmart, and this purchase, other than having such a hard time scoring the console because of it's demand being so high the store came through in quick order. I was given a delivery date of no later than January 9, yet the item came to us on December 27th. Now that's what I call great customer service.

This is a fantastic console you need to get your hands on. You dont have to worry about building a pricey P.C. bc the refresh rate on this console makes for easy and smooth gaming without the strongest wifi. Its absolutely amazing and never glitchy. I was between this and building a P.C. and Im so glad I made this decision even tho it sold out in 5 minutes. This is so powerful and Walmart has amazing 2 day super fast shipping! My package arrived perfect. Thanks so much Walmart!

This console is an absolute monster both in performance and size wise! Everything loads super quick on this console! The Dualsense controller is an absolute game changer! I couldn't be happier with the Playstation 5. The 4k and HDR is simply stunning!

Amazingly fast!!! Great product. Got the ps5 on release date and it's been amazing. Graphics are good and everything loads fast. Able to switch from media to games instantly. Such a great upgrade from the PS4. Don't believe the reviews. Everyone is mad they couldn't get it so they leave bad reviews. Not even Sony fault. Supply and demand on top of COVID-19. What did everyone expect? Everyone to get one?

March 18th I was able to get two of the one that take disc. Walmart made it so easy to really get one because of how they were dropping them every ten minutes. There's a trick to securing one and glad I figured it out within a nick of time. My husband and son didn't believe I had got 2 of them. Graphics are great I haven't played a PlayStation since PS3 but definitely had fun with the PS5. If you can catch one it's worth it. With the right TV!

What's not to love about the hardware? Definitely a step up from the PS4 pro in performance. The controller feels much more comfortable in my opinion, and the adaptive triggers are super immersive and fun. I wish my Sony TV did 120fps, though most games don't even have 120fps modes. At least my TV does 60fps 4K HDR. I plugged my external SSD from my PS4 into the PS5 and I could play those games right away. Maybe at some point I will need to add a internal SSD expansion, but for now the external is fine. I did order some DarkPlates (gen1) and a Damascus skin and put them on right away. And soon I'll be mounting this in a better location. All that said, the ps4 pro is still a really great console, especially when paired with an external SSD, or if your TV / monitor can't even handle like mine or worse. Overall I'm happy as it's sure to support my gaming needs for years to come.

My first PS console since the PS1 ! Very excited ! As a big Nintendo fan here for the last 6 years there were some games I wanted to play on the Playstation which motivated me to get back into Sony's highly touted console and what no better than the new next-gen one. Still love my Nintendo but excited to check out some of these other games I've been missing the last few years and what the future holds with it. So far the OS is great, smooth, and seamless. Do check out the included game - Astros Playroom - as that one is real delight and showcases the controller's capabilities, which I would say is a step up from the Nintendo pro controller. Even an older game like Battlefront 2 looks so good and so real on this thing I am blown away by the detail and smoothness of it. Thanks Wal-Mart for coming thru on this one ! Happy gaming y'all !

So far after a week or so of playtime I must say I'm very impressed with the PS5. The only true PS5 game I've played so far is spider man but I must say the graphics on this console are amazing. Also and maybe the thing I've been the most impressed with so far is the load times into games and the download speeds! The load screens in games are non-existent with this console and from turning on the PS5 to being in-game takes like 30 seconds at the most. The download speeds are phenomenal too. My wifi is average to below average but it doesn't matter with this console. The first day with this console I bought three games. The first one was fully downloaded in less than 30 minutes and the other two followed closely behind. I'm beyond impressed with this machine. The 5 machine has froze up 1 time but that was probably after 6-7 hours of consecutive use lol and was an easy fix of just turning it off and back on. The only con I've found is that it is a little bulky but it makes up for it by being able to turn it vertically. Another solid console by Sony.

This a review of the ps5 console NOT the service Walmart had given to its customers. Load times for games are incredibly fast. I have the habit of checking my phone in between games but now the game loads before I can load Andy thing on my phone. Graphics are incredible aided by the new ray tracing features which make lighting fx look great on games in city areas like spider man. The DualSense is next level with the adaptive triggers. I have experienced a few crashes but these are expected. If I had one warning it would be DO NOT USE REST MODE. There are several bugs out right now which could potentially brick your console. Turn it off in settings. Once a patch is issued you can turn it back on. Finally, to all the people out there who don't have your ps5 yet, keep grinding. There are great people out there that can help you such as Jake Randall on YouTube. You will get the bag just keep grinding!

Just getting a PS5 was incredible but playing with it has been absolutely fantastic. It runs very smoothly and the user interface is so Sumer friendly. I totally recommend getting one. Just be patient and there will be plenty available as time passes on. Thanks Sony and Walmart!!
