First trying to fight the bots and scalpers for a PS5 through online purchases is near impossible and needs to be addressed. Walmart gets a -10 for ruining the start of the whole ordeal. Beyond that, I finally got a PS5 through Sony and the thing is BLAZING fast! I only have 200mb/s internet and I downloaded, installed and transferred 400G of games and content from my ps4 pro while digitally downloading two PS5 specific games from PSN at the same time for another 100G, all ready to go in roughly 50mins. And then I was off gaming. That amount of data would've taken 8hrs with the ps4 pro. The PS5 looks a ton better than the PS4 pro and is much bigger and beefier. It means business! The controller is heavier, feels and looks alot better quality than the dual shock 4. I've played my ps4 games on the ps5 using the ps5 controller for 13 hrs without it dying. I have yet to play my ps5 games though. I'm waiting for more friends to get the system first. The PS5 is very quiet and never even gets warm to the touch on the sides like the ps4 pro. I have put the console in rest mode while playing a game and have had ZERO issues. While playing RE2 remake I have seen zombies in the distance (next room over or at the end of a far hallway) stutter a little bit but goes away as you approach them. Other than that I have had no issues with the system! I even played on it for over 24hrs straight to see if it would give me any issues. No glitches, no bugs, no random shut offs, no rebuilding data issues, no problems power up or turning on, no smoke billowing out like an XsX. I couldn't be happier with the console!

Ordered this not that long ago and received it in about a week an a half. Absolutely worth the wait. Amazing graphics, amazing controller, amazing games, amazing everything. I truly didn't know what to expect before I got it . But when I did get it.... oh man. Everything I ever wanted in a console. If I could I would buy this all over again just to experience it again for the first time.

After several weeks of waiting to get a PS5, I finally manage to get one from Walmart. The PS5 is amazing. First boot up is a 1 time thing and you really don't wanna miss out on it. Yeah the bots are buying out everything on this site and every other site but I was lucky enough to get one. The people who delivered it were FedEx. Surprisingly the person who delivered mine placed it in my backyard while I was away for a few minutes. Came back to see a package in the backyard but no notifications from Walmart until around 20 to 30 minutes of unboxing the PS5. Another thing I will say was that the deliver was meant for December 2, 2020. Came in on November 24, 2020. Keep a close eye on your tracking number if you get one. I didn't receive one until it was delivered. Besides the whole trying to buy a PS5 and Walmart, the PS5 is a perfect gift. Do not buy from scalpers. Do not spend more than $500 for the Disc version. The console is powerful but there isn't much to play besides a couple PS5 games

although I did not buy the console from Walmart I was able to secure a bundle, and I definitely recommend the console its very good. some things I had trouble with was the size of the console, it will be extremely difficult to secure a console on this site because of the bots but you just have to keep on trying. This console is worth the retail price but NOT worth paying 690 or 1000 according to readings and sources they will start making many more consoles and start releasing them around April or June, just be patient if you haven't got a console ps5 or series x. I truly recommend both consoles for their games, visual graphics, and their performance. I will say it is sad for people that actually want to get the console for themselves are not able to get it due to scalpers and resellers, like I said earlier its definitely worth 500 dollars and its NOT worth more than that so just wait a little longer because there will be a lot more later this year.

okay i am a real person and i will leave a honest real review, besides the overpricing i was scammed on facebook marketplace i gave a fool $400 for ps5 and he never delivered so i came here for the ps5 and i was told that if i really wanted it i would pay whatever price for it so i got my money up and i paid for the console.. the shipping process was surprisingly fast i ordered the console on the 1st and its here on the 4th i didn't wait til the truck got to my house i came to the fedex in my area and picked up the console and there it was perfectly wrapped in the box controller and all, it turns on and updates just fine and the game looks and feels amazing.. don't let anyone here scare you into not getting it because tHe bOx wAs dAmAgEd its not the manufacturer fault, it's whoever is shipping the package, complain to them, not here. i know it's overpriced but with the shortage going on and you need a console TODAY this is the one to go to because the console is in my studio plugged in and working perfectly and its definitely worth $800

Please read: I bought this console during the drop on 08/12/21. I will say this has been the absolute WORST experience I've ever had ordering a console. Took me a full month of actually waiting in order to even purchase the dang thing. Shipping wasn't as bad as a I thought, it took slightly over two week in comparison as to the original ship date (10/05/21), it was for sure, a lot better. Customer service did help in some ways in terms of adhering to a mistake made on Walmart's side. I will admit, I don't even know how I bought the standalone console during these times but I highly advise that if you are even considering buying this thing, do so ASAP. Holidays are coming up and that is going to be awful. That being said, the console is absolutely wonderful. Super sleek and looks gorgeous on a 4K UHD TV at 60 FPS. Great console but really bad experience getting it.

I wish we could filter all of the reviews that have nothing to do with the actual system most of these reviews or about shipping or trying to get the PS5 system. Please stop! I got my system directly from Sony So lets Review the actual system. First off my only complaint about the system is the obvious the storage capacity in the system I suggest first getting an external storage drive I went with a simple $60 Seagate works perfectly fine for playing my PS4 games off of it I only went with a 4 TB the controls are far superior to the PlayStation for haptic feedback in the triggers is excellent for first person shooters and Spiderman looks breathtaking if you were playing on the proper TV with all of the proper settings Please go through all of your settings to get the most out of your system and your TV otherwise you could be missing out

Fast load times. Looks nice. Stays cool. Good lineup of games, including free Warzone. Cons: •No back-button attachment for PS5 controllers yet. Must use PS5 controller to play PS5 games. To use the PS4 controller with the back-button attachment, you have to buy the PS4 version of games.

I managed to order this just as they became (again) and before they sold out (again). I really do not know what to say to that will do the PS5 justice. We have family games and are already getting enough laughter and fun together to make it worth almost any price. We were lucky to get it at regular price, but I would have paid much higher and much sooner if I had known it was going to be this great. If you can find it within your price range then go for it!
