I currently own both PS4 and Xbox one X. The PS4 does so many things better than Xbox. Online services are so much better, Xbox Live is down so much. Google it. Downloading updates in low power mode? Only on PS4. Simple to navigate menus? PS4. Play music in your games? M$ has you covered. The only thing PS4 is horrible for is racing games.

I wish we could filter all of the reviews that have nothing to do with the actual system most of these reviews or about shipping or trying to get the PS5 system. Please stop! I got my system directly from Sony So lets Review the actual system. First off my only complaint about the system is the obvious the storage capacity in the system I suggest first getting an external storage drive I went with a simple $60 Seagate works perfectly fine for playing my PS4 games off of it I only went with a 4 TB the controls are far superior to the PlayStation for haptic feedback in the triggers is excellent for first person shooters and Spiderman looks breathtaking if you were playing on the proper TV with all of the proper settings Please go through all of your settings to get the most out of your system and your TV otherwise you could be missing out

This console is great! My sister actually managed to get one and I've used it a little bit, but I can already tell how amazing it is. The rumble and triggers change depending on what's happening on screen, which is just one of those little details I love in gaming. The controller is comfortable too, it practically melts in your hands and bonds to your nerves with how natural everything feels. The console's fans are super quiet for the most part, when turning on the console or inserting a disc the console will get super loud, but other than that it might as well be silent! Games look beautiful on the console too. Even old PS4 games look gorgeous on the new hardware, and the PS5 exclusives look even better! There are 2 major issues though. The storage on the console is pint sized at best, with only an 825 GB SSD. The SSD does make loading times instant and latency not even an issue, but you will for a fact run out of space FAST. Availability is thrown out the window, as your chances of actually getting a console is non existent. I've basically been stalking a bunch of websites trying to get a console for myself, but they've always sold out within SECONDS of restocking. But this console is most certainly worth it. You will not be disappointed, but you will need an external hard drive.

The PS5 is a great gaming console. It's got a fast solid state drive and great graphics! It's also backwards compatible with most digital and disk PS4 games. The exclusives are amazing as well. Finally, it is backwards compatible with Playstation VR with just a small adapter. Sony will eventually release a new VR system for the PS5 down the road for even better VR. Buy the PS5. You won't regret it! :)

First trying to fight the bots and scalpers for a PS5 through online purchases is near impossible and needs to be addressed. Walmart gets a -10 for ruining the start of the whole ordeal. Beyond that, I finally got a PS5 through Sony and the thing is BLAZING fast! I only have 200mb/s internet and I downloaded, installed and transferred 400G of games and content from my ps4 pro while digitally downloading two PS5 specific games from PSN at the same time for another 100G, all ready to go in roughly 50mins. And then I was off gaming. That amount of data would've taken 8hrs with the ps4 pro. The PS5 looks a ton better than the PS4 pro and is much bigger and beefier. It means business! The controller is heavier, feels and looks alot better quality than the dual shock 4. I've played my ps4 games on the ps5 using the ps5 controller for 13 hrs without it dying. I have yet to play my ps5 games though. I'm waiting for more friends to get the system first. The PS5 is very quiet and never even gets warm to the touch on the sides like the ps4 pro. I have put the console in rest mode while playing a game and have had ZERO issues. While playing RE2 remake I have seen zombies in the distance (next room over or at the end of a far hallway) stutter a little bit but goes away as you approach them. Other than that I have had no issues with the system! I even played on it for over 24hrs straight to see if it would give me any issues. No glitches, no bugs, no random shut offs, no rebuilding data issues, no problems power up or turning on, no smoke billowing out like an XsX. I couldn't be happier with the console!

I wouldn't recommend buying a PS5 it loads and updates too slow it doesn't have enough storage space. It's new and looks all fancy but that's just it. I'm sticking with my PS4 I don't think I'm buying another PS5 hopefully the ps6 will be a better upgrade in the future.

the stock ran out in less than a minute. I think preorders would work way better even if that means having to wait a month or so for the console. at least that will ruin the business of the resellers who will be stuck with console they will have to sell at a normal price.

It only took me a year and several different attempts to get it, but I finally got me one (at retail price!) thanks to my Walmart membership. This thing is absolutely amazing! From the graphics to fast load times to the haptic feedback on the controller, it's a beast of a machine all the way around. And Walmart got it to me sooner than expected. Couldn't be happier!

Got this on day one and I love it. By far the best gaming experience I've had so far. Load times are so much faster than previous generations, graphics are amazing for a console, and backwards compatible with PS4 helps while we wait for more games to come out.

It would be greatly appriciated if loading was faster while trying to purchase the ps5. Everytime I wait and reload the page the loading is fine. It is only when I got to purchase it the loading takes forever. I would greatly appriciate if you guys would make the loading time faster for the 6et/5ct time slot. It would be very much appriciated.
