Exactly what I hoped for. I waited a good month or so before reviewing in case there were issues with the console that weren't readily apparent, but there haven't been any problems at all. The console is lightning fast; all my load times on Genshin Impact for example have been less than 2 seconds. The disc drive works just fine. Streaming services perform better as well. The console is bigger than I expected though, which is tricky because I don't have a lot of space to work with. Came in packaged very well. 10/10. If you're impatient like me and have the extra cash to spare for a marked up PS5, this is a safe bet.

I give it a 5 stars because its amazing in every way. Though it came late and this caused a lot of frustration and I in a way regret thinking that nation wide distributors was not accountable since they never reassured me that it was on the way and let me no option but to file a complaint. I got lucky with the walmart drop on the 25th of nov, anyway it truly is next generation coming even from a ps4 pro. Everything is so smooth and fluid and the menu loads way faster. It runs a lot of my old ps4 games the same if not better depending on the game. The controller is honestly a huge change and was surprised how crazy it felt in my hands like in the Astro's Playroom which a free game included. If you are coming from like a og ps4, xbox one, or something older you'll for sure see a difference especially on a 4k. I highly recommend if you're on the fence, can afford it, or even GET one right now.

It came fast. Within four days of ordering it. If the delivery carrier is Lasership. Just make sure you pick it up at the nearest facility. I seen alot of bad reviews about them “stealing packages” or they'll deliver it but you never got it. So just pick up at the nearest Lasership location. I'm setting up my PS5 now.

What's not to love about the hardware? Definitely a step up from the PS4 pro in performance. The controller feels much more comfortable in my opinion, and the adaptive triggers are super immersive and fun. I wish my Sony TV did 120fps, though most games don't even have 120fps modes. At least my TV does 60fps 4K HDR. I plugged my external SSD from my PS4 into the PS5 and I could play those games right away. Maybe at some point I will need to add a internal SSD expansion, but for now the external is fine. I did order some DarkPlates (gen1) and a Damascus skin and put them on right away. And soon I'll be mounting this in a better location. All that said, the ps4 pro is still a really great console, especially when paired with an external SSD, or if your TV / monitor can't even handle like mine or worse. Overall I'm happy as it's sure to support my gaming needs for years to come.

By far the best Playstation I've ever put my hands on. Very sleek futuristic design. It's much different to actually see in person. I can't wait for more games to be released. The graphics are insane, the loading times are phenomenal. Can't wait til this next generation of gaming is full swing!

Getting the Play-station 5 was no easy task. Once I got my order placed and got a tracking number it came faster than the estimated date. The Ps5 is well worth its $500 price tag, I would not pay over what it's original price is in stores. I would highly suggest buying the charging station with the console, as the cord that comes in box is short. I've had a Great Time using the systems interface and playing games like Demon's Souls or Spiderman Remastered. The games run smooth and load fast ! I would suggest buying this system to anyone !

I was one of the lucky few that got this purchase originally as the Digital Edition, but was upgraded to the Disc Edition at no extra cost. (Tl;dr, $100 discount, courtesy of Walmart). Bought it for a friend, since I previously bought the Digital Edition for the hubby and I months earlier. He seems to enjoy it! ^_^

The package was a little roughed up after shipping, and it bothered me a bit. But other than that, the system is great! I have not been able to keep myself off of it for the past week. Great games, great controller, definitely a great switch from Xbox!

Amazing console plays PS4games with no effort at all. Doesnt even get warm !! Amazon save anytime in the games I have tried and Sony is dedicated to gamers unlike the competitor they o you provide equal units with and with out disc, no hokey downgraded versions for us!
