Only giving 3 stars because of the way my ps5 was handled during delivery by Lasership who decided to throw my Playstation onto my porch. Luckily it appears to work and arrived earlier than expected. Think Walmart tried their best with keeping it secured in the box it's just I wish that the delivery service was better. Otherwise I had no problem before with waiting 20 minutes during one of their drops. The waiting was one of the hardest parts but it was worth it! :) Just stay away from lasership just for them to throw your $500 electronics.

Got the system faster then delivery date stated but that excitement went away soon as I saw the box they shipped it in. The box was 10 inches bigger then the Playstation box itself and there was no bubble wrap or any other protection to stop it from moving around so freely in the box. Add that with the crappy delivery service that FedEx provides and you have the ingredients for disappointment. The PS5 box was damaged and who know how much banging around it did. Adding salt to the womb, the Walmart tape used to let you know the box wasn't tampered with was actually cut on all 4 edges and the top was cut part way to the middle so you could see inside the box. Glad I got it. Just now happy with how I got it. Use a smaller box and adding protection for people expensive items.

Sure, it took its sweet (and delayed) time getting here but boy was it worth the wait. The experience is faaar above the PS4's in every form. The updates that are being pushed out also make it even more user friendly to use! Somehow this latest made the internet perform far better! Sure, it doesn't have Xbox's Quick Resume but that's only one con I'm sure can be added.

I ordered my PS5 that was supposed to be ready on Dec 2 but went to the store and got it today. In contrast, the PS5 that I ordered from BestBuy that was supposed to be ready 2 days ago has now been delayed until Dec. 25!!! I like the more conservative design of the Xbox Series X than the PS5 that sticks out way too much from the background. However, I already own the Xbox One S and makes much more sense to buy the PS5 to play the Role Playing Single Player Exclusives and use my Xbox One S for multiplayer games. Connecting with family and friends through gaming (especially when we are trapped at home) is well worth the price. It can bring the household together and it can keep friends and family who do not live in the household together. I don't think my wife and 2 kids care if I am downvoted :)

I was one of the few lucky ones who beat the bots. Word of advice use the Walmart apps's instead of logging online on a computer. This is actually our second PS5 console (got the other one from Bestbuy last November 12). I got this one earlier than expected in Walmart.

This is truly next generation. I've been trying to get my hands on one since launch. I was so happy I finally managed to get one off Walmart. It was not easy either by any means. Came in quickly too! it said the shipping date wouldn't be until April 2021 but it was at my door just four days after I ordered it. track was excellent as well. and if some people are wonder, it is packaged in a Walmart box so no one knows what is inside. I live in an apartment complex so I was afraid it was just going to be exposed out there on my door but it wasn't so I am grateful. the paper portion that that surrounds the box was a little messed up, but I wasn't on planning on keeping the box so it didn't matter to me

Received ps5 ahead of schedule!! I combated the bots that previously made it difficult to acquire. Recommend using the wal mart app. Setup up was simple an the ps5 works wonders no issues. I've left it on, it turns itself off, I've put it in rest mode an have a external plugged in. No issues

Waited 3 months to get my hands one of these ps5 consoles. :( The scalpers had them all, but am so glad Walmart was able to acquire more as this system is not just hype, it delivers at every level. So smooth and precise and has the ability to replace my other media devices since you can install Netflix, Spotify, Plex, Disney plus, and many more applications. I bought the Disc version will also allows me to watch my blu/Ray movie collection. It's totally worth it and have to say thanks to Wal Mart for delivering it.

Great System, first one I got from online was DOA, bad memory, I called the local Walmart, and just luckily they had an exchange for me. Glad I didn't wait until Christmas to test it out, that would have been a bummer. I know how lucky I was they just happened to have one in back.

Purchased mine on the March 18th restock. Finally got it in today. It's the most amazing system I've seen. My opinion. Easy to use. Everything from PS4 transfers great. Don't give up on the restocks. Have the Walmart app and all info in system and hit add to cart. Easy to catch that way. I even got a station kit for it from Amazon that has a cooling fan, duel controller charging station and disc storage for the games. It's BEAUTIFUL. Good luck people, You won't be disappointed!!!
