When I bought this (online), the shipping information said it would get to me a month and a half later. Well it actually only took four days. So, dont be put off by that if youre looking to get one - I think the projected shipping date is just in case they sell more than they've actually got at the time. Super happy with the console, its a great update. And pleased to have finally scored one, been trying since January.

As of current, 3/24/2021, the Playstation 5 is more enjoyable (to me) in regards of new games over the Xbox One Series S/X but in regards of features of the system itself, it's the other way around. If mainly new games, PS5. If wanting to play old games and also with a chance of it being upspeced, XBSX. Both consoles dont' really have new games that are exclusive to console so not really needing to urgently get it.

The PS5 is a fantastic console. Load times are virtually a thing of the past. The console is much more quiet than the PS4 including running high graphic games, something the PS4 struggled with over the past couple of years. If you're lucky enough to land one of this highly sought after items, you can't go wrong here.

I was lucky enough to buy one online during one of the select time frames. Showed to be delivered in Jan but I was surprised when I got email that it will come in before Christmas. Came in about 4 days before Christmas and a whole lot sooner than the original date. Overall very satisfied with delivery and being lucky enough to purchase. Great console as expected as well.

So first of all I want to thank Walmart for not only actually letting me buy a the seemingly non-existent PS5, they deliver it 10 days before the actual delivery date! The only problem I had was having to constantly refresh the page and constantly hitting add to cart (due to bots and scalpers unfortunately so it kept going out of stock even when it said that there was stock so obviosuly the bots and god knows how many actual gamers made it really difficult to go to checkout) and somehow I managed to secure one since it kept saying it went out of stock even during the 10 min stock releases that they had. For those of you thinking about quantity, Walmart had the good sense to keep it limited to one console per purchase so as to support the customer rather than scalpers I'm guessing.. It was scheduled to arrive on Jan 9th but in fact came today afternoon (December 30th). Everything seems to be working well and I do not have any complaints so far. Out of every retailer who has been having these online time windows for buying these ever-fleeting next gen consoles, Walmart handled it in the best and most user friendly way (I'm looking at you BestBuy).

I had finally managed to secure a purchase of a digital PS5 but Walmart had oversold the quantity they had. They upgraded my order to the disc-drive version (the one I originally wanted) free of charge! Delivery was quick and the console is fantastic.

I managed to get this system for my bf at 9pm on the 25th. As soon as the clock turned 9, I waited 10-15 seconds and went right to the checkout with complete ease. I guess while everyone else was getting kicked off in the first few seconds (including my bf) I waited and was lucky. He loves the system. One helpful piece of advice: wait a few seconds after the drop so everyone whose been jumping the gun can get kicked off and you have that small window of opportunity to slip in there and get it while they're refreshing the “oh deer” page...

Great new next gen console, though all of its capabilities have not yet been unlocked by PS it's still pretty amazing. Have been playing AC Valhalla and Cyberpunk 2077 on it a lot. The games run smooth and fast with minimal loading time. If you have trouble with the Walmart website just keep refreshing and trying eventually you might just luck out and get one!

So, had this for a few days, having taken just under three weeks to arrive. The box arrived with some small tears in the outer packaging which was a bit annoying. Aside from that it is pretty decent, the machine its self looks a bit cheap and plasticky but stood behind my tv you cant see that. The new controller is very nice, feels good in the hand and includes a built in battery. The console its self is fast and the games look impressive on my 4k tv. PS provides some decent free games like god of war so is worth it if you can get it at a bargain price (although it took Walmart so long to dispatch my ps5 I missed out on the free final fantasy 7 remake)

Everything i could ask for and more from sony and the playstation team. Despite having to fight the automated bots to finally get one, i can say it was worth it. Just keep waiting and dont buy the resale ones. I highly reccomend getting a PS5 when you can.
