Overall it's a very smooth tool. But, in California, conservation easements are only deductible to 30% of AGI, and TurboTax doesn't handle that correctly.

Maine requires that 1099ME withholdings be listed on line 25a of the 1040ME. Your software places it on line 25b. Last year we were audited because of this error. This year I placed it on the correct line but had to override turbotax's placement.

There is a bug with the mortgage interest deduction when you rent out part of your home. If I take the deduction as part of the rental, it is not reflected when I do my home mortgage deduction.

When you are the finance guy in a large family, everyone is used to you doing their taxes for them. Now limiting it 5 e-filings is FRUSTRATING, especially to find out at the last minute!!

I have been using TurboTax Premier for years because of the ability to include investments and rental property. The ability to save the file as you collect all of the documentation is invaluable. Love it..great product.

I have been using Turbo Tax since 2005. The questions are similar to going to a tax professional which I did prior to using Turbo Tax. The process of doing taxes yourself makes you more aware of your tax situation.
