I've been using Turbo Tax for at least 10 years. It gets better each year at prompting the user with appropriate questions so the return will be completely properly.

TurboTax Premier needs more sophistication for certain situations. Need to do better job with Foreign Tax, Sched 1113 when there are multiple entries for foreign taxes. Also, need to work on doing a better job with K-1 forms.

Each time I enter data for income or deductions, I am returned to the TOP of the list rather than resuming where I left off. This requires repeated scrolling back to the next topic.

Even though I am in a nursing home and correctly answered a question that I own no real estate (that is, I am not a homeowner), TurboTax asked me detailed questions about real estate taxes paid

It lets me override an amount in my return, then lets me go all the way until the very end (after I've paid extra for the state efile), to let me know I can't efile with an override - horrible software design!

HEALTHCARE COVERAGE QUESTIONS WERE VERY DIFFICULT TO GET THE RIGHT ANSWER... IE SPOUSE WAS COVERED FOR ENTIRE YR BUT HAD TO ANSWER "NONE".... JUST DIDNT MAKE SENSE

TurboTax K-1 form is a pain in the neck. Bit more instruction would be helpful. Overall, TurboTax is fine and saves individual non-experts lots of work and research.

An example of the topic is schedule E, when printing the return with calculated pages - the pages that calculate depreciation are spread though out the printed copy, and if one tried to conserve on paper by printing both sides its a mess.

all worked fine. love the double checking and questioning to be sure it is all correct. This year's "oh oh" on the foreign tax source was pulling my hair til I remembered the search and community help. Super easy when the help is right there.

A better product than prior years. Now, if one goes back and changes answers regarding college Q and T forms, the program properly re-calculates. Like having a separate stand alone and not online version for me to work with.
