I have been using TurboTax since around 1990, and have never had a serious problem. The ease of use and accuracy has been wonderful. I just had a little problem this time where it seemed to repeat certain pages of inquiries and I had to go back to enter the 1099-R info (I had to dig to find where it actually asked for that info). But it is still the best option for doing my taxes and I was still able to complete both state and federal returns in 1 day.

Software has a hard time with some security sales and made me have to send in an extra form and copy of my info from brokerage for no apparent reason... never did that before! Also, hard to navigate to things like automatic pre-payment coupons generation for pre-paying next years taxes; even if you don't want to use them . It should NOT be automatic (generating pre-payment vouchers), but should be a key item you ask people about and do not automatically assume they want you to generate them. Poor design on this item.

I have been using Turbo Tax software for many years. TurboTax Premier 2017 was to say the least a pain to use. I had to go into the actual form to get the software to enter the correct info. Job related expenses didn't ask if I wanted to take a Section 179 depreciation for tools purchased. It did have this question for this information all other years. After extensive searching, several hours and trying to use support I decided to dig into the form view and was able to enter it correctly. Not user friendly this year. If this was my first year using this software I would not be back a 2nd year. I will purchase again due to my satisfaction with previous years, but, I hope Intuit gets it right for 2018 and makes the software "intuitive" and user friendly.

Have been using Turbo Tax for 10 years. Love it. Makes filing easy and simple. Step by step instructions. They constantly update Turbo Tax. I use Premier because of investments. All the info from our accounts is automatically transferred to Turbo Tax if I choose to do so. Great software for a reasonable price. Highly recommend Turbo Tax. No more dreaded tax days.

Was pleasantly surprised at how easy this years taxes were to do (less than one day) and it wasn't a struggle. Normally its almost as hard, if not more so, to try and understand what the tax software wanted as apposed to what the IRS wanted. This year Turbotax was a breeze to use and understand. This years version is the best yet!

Not sure if problem is Turbo tax or investment firm. PA wants all 1099-B sales classified by who owns investment (husband, wife or joint). The owner information is not carried from Federal return to PA state return and that means going thru list of very cryptic descriptions that have CUSIP numbers and matching.

Have used Turbotax since 2010. Greatly dissatisfied that I am unable to e-file my taxes and have paid money to e-file the state taxes. It appears other Mac users are having the same problem with no correction in sight. Mac Error: "Your Transmission Didn't Go Through" (reason: cancelled)

This is the most trouble that I have had with Turbotax. First it took forever to load from DVD. Then it took forever to accept that I wanted to file and create an account later. I had to save my return 5 times before I was allowed to input my credit card information. This may be my last year purchasing the product.

I use TurboTax to do my tax returns every year, and it's so simple and easy to use! It took me no more than maybe 20 minutes. They are also very thorough in their questions, but make the information easy to understand. A little bit pricey for me, but ultimately worth every penny. Love it!

I love this program. It makes doing may taxes simple and easy while providing step by step instructions. The only item that appears different from the great application that I'm use to is It's Deductible. Usually it is included and the packaging says it is but it seems to only be able to import from the Web version of It's Deductible. usually you can do either, online or within the program; seems online is the only option now.
