See pros and cons: Pro: Confidence done right, knows what forms I need to and don't need to file. Con: Makes me fill out too many details, IRS doesn't require--thus takes longer than necessary

Decent program, I've used it for years now. Still seems outrageous to have to pay extra for electronic state returns. No cutting a break for a long-time user.

I love this product! Turbotax gets it right. After using it for 20 years it does not feel the need to change the way you use it for no good reason. The only product I know exactly what to expect before I install it.

Very good product and intuitive. I'd like to see a search field for the charitable contributions rather than have to go through each category and try to find a fit.

Installation on Mac horrible. On a new Mac, the installation took upwards of an hour to install. Each update was of similar time. At one point one of the updates corrupted everything and had to start anew.

I love how the program seems to automatically save. You used to have to save all the time. I am wondering, though, if a form 8829 and a schedule C can be done off the Premier Edition?

On the copy for my records I do not need : filing instructions payment vouchers These come with the copy to be filed and are duplicates. I only need one copy for my records.

pretty ordinary. unfortunately I'm stuck with it because of previous filings which I have to transfer every year. I can't even download W2 data from a major employer. plenty of other shortcomings that will tax your patience (excuse the pun)
