Please make this easier to navigate like the Fed software. It is a serious pain to have to go thru the whole thing to change a number! Also, I don't believe the tax estimator takes into account Large Fed/St refunds. That messed up my estimations and IRA...

I've been using Turbotax for so many years I can't remember when I started using it. I love Turbotax because they have given me clean tax reports everytime and any mistake I may have had was usually my own fault. One negative issue to comment on: I help my brother-in-law do his taxes and he has a condominium which he doesn't live in anymore but rents out, It is his only source of income and every year we struggle to input his information so it reflects his situation properly. The 'materially participates' throws us off and figuring out where to put in his expenses causes us trouble too.

I've used TurboTax for years and always been satisfied. It makes completing my return easy, especially in more complex areas like investments and deductions. That said, TurboTax is like using GPS in your vehicle. It is a huge help, but you also need to understand the nuances of the tax law. With a basic knowledge, all your records, and the software, a tax return is straightforward.

My life changed in 2009 when my husband died. I had to learn who my friends were. Turbo tax showed me that I have a friend in turbo tax. Now I rely on many intuit products for my financial health. Can't believe I finally filed on line. I'm 72. Yea for me and Turbo Tax and Audit protection.

I have used TurboTax for many years. I love it. I seldom have issues that I can't solve, but once in awhile there is something that I don't know how to do and TurboTax isn't helping much. I have taken the issue to my tax adviser and paid only for an hour of consultation for that one issue. It saves a lot of time and money to do it this way. This has only happened twice. Both times it was for a K-1 partnership.

When I tried to e-file, Turbo had to save the file before e-filing, and it crashed when saving. I tried to e-file 4 times and Turbo crashed all 4 times at the same operation. When I restarted Turbo, it didn't give me any reasons for the crash. Support wasn't of much help. I ended up filing paper copies.

All was fine on my return, but I postponed filing while waiting for some property tax info. Meanwhile my ex-wife (who has my same first initial) did her taxes. When she saved, even though she had opened up a separate return, TurboTax defaulted to the same first initial-last name for naming the new file and over-wrote my return. I had to start over. When starting a new return, TT, PLEASE know better than to use a pre-existing file name!!!

Too many repeat entries filling out and then rechecking your 1099s NO where does it say you can only have 20 1099Rs for efiling. No clear way to group mulitple ira RMD funds from the same mutual fund company NO easy guidance of how to enter an IRS pin. You have to go through help screens

Good product. I have used it for years, but it is not as easy as perhaps it could be. Maybe you should have some non tax professionals use the program before completing it. I am an accountant, but not a tax accountant. I itemize my deductions and have a rental property. I sometimes have to go over certain sections several times before I get it right.

I am "Mr. TurboTax Loyalist". I have been using TurboTax since "how-long I don't remember". One thing I do know is since it was the DOS (Disk Operating System - aka non-Windows OS). I have NEVER been using anything else; and not even tried the alternative. No more to say than that! Thanks to Intuit:) You have made my life easier, is, and I am sure will continue to do that.
