I had been looking for a set like this for a while, but was disappointed with the selections available around. Everything seemed overpriced when I checked the places I anticipated would have what I was looking for (Amazon and sporting goods stores). I was surprised I could order this from Walmart, but because it was the Weider name I felt pretty good about ordering it. Glad I did. Other reviewers have knocked off stars for difficulty of assembly. I disagree. The assembly (and in particular the parts organization) was a DREAM. Everything was sturdy and following the directions to the letter led to the parts working exactly as intended. I will grant the admission that I'm handier than most, but I think that had very little to do with my appreciation of the exactness (if not the "ease" of assembly). You're putting together a weight system; you should expect some complexity and some time. Everything felt very well constructed. The welds, supports, and stability were all very good. The parts meant to move do so freely. The adjustments for the different exercises are all pretty straightforward. The included demonstration diagram poster is pretty good and there's a weight-equivalence chart for the different activities (since there's one weight stack but three different pulley routes that change the resistance). You are limited by the weight stack, so those looking for the heaviest weights aren't going to get as much use out of this machine without figuring how to attach plates to boost the resistance. I can't dock it for that, though, because it pretty clearly is described what this machine is and does. The delivery was half-assed. They (UPS? I can't remember) brought it up the driveway on their two-wheeler and then dumped it into the snow rather than taking the two steps up onto my covered patio. Yes, it's heavy (2 boxes, the shorter of the two is a monster), but if it's heavy for you as a delivery person with the equipment, it's going to be heavier or more difficult for me after it's wet from you dumping it in the snow and without a dolly. They also didn't ring my bell; I had no idea it was coming. If I didn't happen to need to go outside, it would have sat out there all night getting snowed on even more. Not going to deduct a star for that, either, as I can't see how Walmart (or Weider, for that matter) has a lot of control over what a 3rd party (who's the only one you can use, basically) does in parcel delivery. TL/DR: This is around $200 cheaper than you can find similar equipment elsewhere, from what I found in my shopping. It's solid. The directions are easy to follow and it can be put together with one person. It operates well, and is a very good value for the fit, function, and features.

I am one who lifts 6-7 days a week; sometimes more than once a day. When the gyms closed due to the pandemic, I started making my basement into a home gym. This machine gives me what I can't have with free weights. Everything was packaged very well, no missing pieces, or defective parts. It took roughly 3 hours to put together, but for the quality of the machine, it was well worth it.

Both boxes arrived at the same time and everything was in them. One nice thing was that instead of a bag of nuts and bolts, each step of the assembly had the required nuts and bolts for that step shrink wrapped separately. That made the assembly so much easier. Took about 3.5 hours start to finish. There is enough weight/resistance for the average person to get a really good workout. If you're a serious body builder, you should probably buy something with more weight to it. I'm older and a bit out of shape. This machine will do everything I need it to and the price makes it well worth it. It's very sturdy to sit on and work out. You have to keep your foot on the front base to do some of the exercises from the front lower pulley if you aren't sitting on the machine or the front end will lift off the floor. Comes with a good workout poster with plenty of different exercises for each muscle group. Overall well worth the money for someone just looking to get back in shape

Obviously this is not high quality and you get exactly what you pay for. Idiots that write these reviews need to realize that. This equipment is not professional grade. And definitely is a little on the cheap side. The cable reels will clearly wear out in a month or two from the cable rubbing on them. Those should be still not plastic.the package was supposed to come with grease and it didn't oh well I can get some.only takes like 2 hours to put together. All in all not bad for the price. Deffinetly not high quality!

Good for home exercise!

all the parts to put it together were not sent. now I have to call the manufacturer for replacements

I ordered this through walmart.com and when I received it a lot earlier than said, over 1/2 of this item was missing. This is not walmarts fault it is weiders which now is through icon fitness.

I am 56 years old I'm not a bodybuilder but I like to be physical fit so for a basic work out it's great if you looking to be toned and have some definition this machine will do the job well built

The home gym is a good start for someone who have not worked out for awhile. The only is that we were missing some minor parts like spacers so for has not effected the product. My problem is this home gym maybe obsolete in a few months.
