We love it...compact enough but big enough to give us what we needed, grandson even likes it and he is 8 yrs old...it took us about 5 hours to out it together, but easy. It helps stretch our muscles and improve strength..we are well over 65 yrs old too

This is a really great gym! Everything works and looks great and fits perfect in my spare room. The only CON is it takes a long time to setup. It took me about 5 hours to set it up. Plus it came in 2 large shipments that were a couple days apart, and looked nothing like the boxes in this page. They were two very large and heavy boxes. But you can't beat the price and I really love to use it, and everything works perfectly.

Home Gym is great granted upon pick up and arriving at home, the hardware was missing. I had to call the manufacturer directly to get the needed parts in order to assemble. The young lady representing the Weider Manufacturer was very pleasant to deal with. I finally have all parts needed in order to assemble.

Many reviews stated assembly was difficult, full disclosure I had my brother assemble it and he said it wasn't bad, took a little over two hours(using his own tools and he has experience with pulley systems). The cable machine is great, it does so much more than even listed on the workout poster included, easily 20 different things. The poster included is a great way to help people familarize with the machine. After a few weeks you start to see like oh if I put this pin here it stabilizes this so I can use the low pulley for something besides leg lifts and the machine doesn't have a slight wiggle on the bar bc the pin stabilizes it, also on the upper pulley if you wanted to buy a rope attachement to do work on your arms, etc . So it does have a learning curve when you are used to using the machines at the gym. Easy to figure it out, quality machine, upholstery is nicely sewn, package came to dings or dents. I wanted to buy this over the spring/summer but it was sold out due to the pandemic, waited for the price to drop and I am amazed at how much quality in this $250 machine. I like how parts can be removed to get more variety I your exercises. (Arm rest on front to do curls) I recommend this machine, in fact after using mine my brother bought one.

husband really likes the gym has everything on it that he wanted.....we see the grandkids alot more now to since he got the machine so it was a great investment

Works great , the cables took awhile to get threaded through but it was actually an easy set up. Me and my wife put it together in about 3 hours. It's great for an in home gym.

Love this machine! It has been wonderful to work out when I want at home. Great resistance for myself as I increase weight and for others at different levels who use it as well

I suggest picking it up at the store. It's heavy and delivery services tend to damage heavy boxes. Ordered online , took 6 days for it to arrive at the store. Went to Walmart and was told to go around to the side and Walmart personnel loaded it in my van. Great service! The directions were straight forward and I assembled it myself in under 4hrs taking my time. Pros: Price, directions, assembly, great value Cons: Seat slants slightly to the right, difficulty doing a couple of exercises due to the lack of range of motion. Range of motion maxes out too early for someone who's 6' or over but perfect for someone under 5'8. All in all, it's a great machine. It's not a $1500 home gym but at at the $200 range it's definitely worth the money.

The directions were pretty much straightforward. The cable routing however, could have been a bit more clear. Get yourself a set of 13 and 16 mm open end wrenches as well as a 16 mm socket with a small extension. It will save you grief and frustration over the adjustable wrenches. I am a mechanic (which explains the tools) and my son and I took just over three hours assembling the unit. You get much for what you pay for. It is not the best; but it is by far not the worst either. It is a beginners set. You can do much with this set and it beats buying a separate bench and weight set (unless that is your thing) for over twice what we paid for this. It is solidly constructed and so far my son has no complaints. With all the COVID-19 restrictions in place this was a small price to pay (literally) to help keep my son in shape. I would highly recommend this set to anyone just starting out. Also, it does not take up very much space.

So first off the item is a hassle to build, took us about 5hrs. And the workout machine works decently just it isnt as smooth as your local gyms cable machines. The chest fly aspect in my perspective is to close of handles. And for some ironic reason the low pulley is so heavy compared to the other cables on the machine. I will pull it with the handle and literally the whole machine will move and thats with about two of weight boxes. So that has been literally frustrating because I cant figure that out, but im hoping once the rest of the cables get broken in it will run smoother when I workout.
