I've had HP, and then a XEROX all in one printer. The xerox has issues, the HP colored and black ink were to expensive. SO I THOUGHT I WOULD TRY THIS BROTHER. THE EASE OF SETTING UP phenomenal, the screen is large enough so you can program with ease for fax, scan and copy. The laser ink quality is nice and dark. I love I can do 2 sided at once two. You wont be disappointed!! Only had a few weeks.

why did they change this printer from a black to a charcoal color? you cannot even tell the color is black on the web site. black matches any office decor and charcoal is a terrible eye sore. at least offer two color choices. this printer has touch screen but also touch plastic surface. if you touch the glowing numbers on the plastic surface, it dials your fax. the printer is compact and has a deep paper storage tray to hold half a ream. its very fast and efficient. the software and drivers miraculously just work as they should, which is a miracle for printing companies. though it does not print as well as an HP (no printers really have that signature distinct better image quality that HP haas), the quality difference is negligible, and all of these other factors made me never go back to HP again.

I bought this for my boss to print financials, etc. Works wonderfully, EASY setup anyone could do it.

Such an improvement over what it replaced. So easy to set up and use - including the WiFi. It's quick and high quality.

Very simple to connect to your home network and user friendly. The keys on the touch screen should be calibrated better but it's overall a great product.

Good Steady Machine, feeds right all the time on scans and copies. Cheap to operate.

I replaced my old reliable Brother with this model. I am still having some problems getting the wireless functions to work, but the printing is quick and perfect. It is silent on stand-by, but somewhat noisier than my old one when working, which is a very minor consideration. All things considered, I am very pleased with this purchase.

This copier delivers good quality copies rapidly. It was easy to set up and connected to my Wi-Fi router readily. However, the command screen is NOT intuitive. Setting up shortcuts requires trial and error because the links are mysterious. Also, reduction of a slightly over-sized document is not possible, or it is not possible to figure out how to do it. Default settings for density and contrast are not optimal. They appear to be set to consume maximum ink. I can live with this copier but it doesn't compare to the Sharp copier it replaced.

I like this MFP, it allows usb and network printing at the same time plus scanning over the network. I have over 30 brother printers in operation now and really like them. I only give this unit 3 stars because of the lack of toner yield. High yield toner still is only in th mid 2000 prints. So it scores an average star rating only because of small print yield. If they could do 6000 to 8000 on this unit, it would be a 5+ rating.
