I had four of these installed on my 2008 Honda Odyssey at 43,627 miles and they have lasted to 69,000 miles - barely 27,000 miles of the 90,000 warranted miles. Truly, a disappointment. I definitely did NOT get what I paid for. I will not purchase Michelin again.

In my job as a salesman I am on the road every day... Whether on the phone, listening to the radio or just wanting quiet time to think the Michelin tires are the best I can get. I've used some other brands occasionally but have learned my lesson. The comfort ride and quietness is the reason I wll stick with Michelin from now on. I would recommend these for anyone, from day to day to just occasional driving to the longtrip. Make it enjoyable for yourself and your family.

after riding on bumpy tires for many years, I am now enjoying the comfort of my Michelin defenders for the smooth ride. I also like the extended warranty period and the service I will get through the life of them. In fact they might outlast me as I am now a senior senior.

I love Michelin tires. The Defenders came on my car. When I had a hole in the sidewall, I replaced two with a "recommended brand" from another company because I was out of work and money was limited. The last time I got my car inspected, it almost didn't pass because of these two tires. I recently replaced all four tires but kept the original two for spares because they had that much tread left on them. That taught me a lesson as those other two tires were less than 3 years old and I only had around 25,000 miles or less on them. Yep. I'll never buy another brand.

I have been using Michelin X1 tires or Michelin Harmony Tires for about 8 years on 3 different cars, have been very happy with them as they give you a very comfortable ride. I just purchase a newer car, and they need a new pair of tires. I could not find the Harmony tires anywhere, so I bought the new Michelin Defenders which had a tread design almost exactly like my Harmonys and figured I could not go wrong with Michelins, as I had been using them for such a long time. I have been a huge fan of Michelins because of the great ride and traction they give you. The Defenders just do not give my car the great ride that I was used to having. To me , They give a harder ride and just feel different. I was hoping to exchange them for another tire, but after contacting someone at Michelin it is up to the Dealer who installed them after He inspects them whether I can get another set of tires. I was told they soften up after a bit of driving so I hope this is true. With the Harmonys they felt great right away. Seem to be using more gas too, than with the tires that came on the car.

Put the Defender tires on my car 8 months ago and right away you could tell a 100% difference. Best thing about the tires the ride is still great and I drive this car to and from work each day. I hate road noise and these tires have very little noise. The car handles great in wet weather and here in florida it rains almost every day during the summer months.

brought this product for my parents knowing that they drive a lot taking the grandkids to school and practice and stuff. My mom never complained about these set of tires like she did the other brands. She loves the way it rides, handles and most of all the fact that she didn't have to replace these tires after 55k miles.

With the Defender Tire I feel that I have a better sense for driving conditions and safer handling and control. As soon as we placed the tires on the car I felt that I was in a much better situation and in for a more comfortable ride. I plan on keeping Michelin Tires on all of my cars!

The tires are far superior than any other brand. The handling on highway or country roads is great. Wear life is superior. We purchase from a local man whom exceeds anyone in answering questions and care in detailing what the product is. I have driven on your products only since 1994. Example I had a Suburban which is a large vehicle and got over 60K per set! The product works on dry, rain, or snow conditions.

Our van rides a lot smoother with the Michelin Defender. Best decision we have made about buying tires. This is the vehicle that we travel in so we wanted a tire that would last more than the traditional 40k - 60K. I look forward to riding on these tires for a long time.
