BEST SET OF TIRES I HAVE EVER OWNED.

I just love these tires. They are everything Michelin said they were and more. They make me feel safe and secure while I driving on the road. I live in the deep south and have only had to drive in the snow twice with them going home to IL in the winter and they did great. We have a lot of rain down here in the spring time and they do great in the rain as well. I just recommended a set for my cousin. I have owned tires by other manufactures and none compare to the quality, stability, and ride comfort of these Michelin defender tires. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

An excellent choice

I bought these tires for my 2006 Prius prior to the winter of 2012-2013. They handled extremely well in the snow. We've also experienced a tremendous amount of rain this spring and summer. Again, the tires handled extremely well. I would highly recommend these tires.

80,000 Miles and still going!

I drive about 55K a year and these tires are holding up great! Even at 80K there are still lots of life left in them. It might help that I keep them at 40PSI and have regular rotations done. Wet performance is ok not great but what do you expect with a harder compound long lasting tire!

The ONLY Tire I Will EVER Own!

My tires are STILL the Michelin Hydroedge tires. They currently have about 60,000 miles on them and they still look new! My last set of Hyrdoedge tires got well over 100,000 miles on them. My wife's car got well over 100,000 miles as well! My son currently has his old Hyroedge tires on his brand new car! (We asked the dealer to swap them before we bought his car) They have about 40,000 miles on them and are going strong! Michelins have proven themselves to me over and over and for the money they are most economical tire you can buy! I will never have anything but Michelins on my cars! Thank you Michelin for a superior product at a reasonable price!

If the Tires fit Ride Them

I purchased my first set of Michelin tires in 1975. These tires won my confidence with their durability, craftsmanship, and safety. To this day, Michelin has been and remains my tire of choice. I buy them, I recommend them, and I plan to remain a Michelin man!

Awesome tire!

Most people say they stay away from Michelin tires because of their higher cost compared to other tires. The only thing I have to say to them is the old advice rings true - you get what you pay for. I used Michelin tires previously, but then switched to other brands based on recommendations from others. With other brands I rarely felt that I had a feel of the road like I do with the Michelin tires. There are no surprises with these tires. They are awesome at holding their grip in all weather conditions, and when you push them beyond their limits they don't break loose completely like some of other brands I've had . They hold their grip enough to let you get back in control, but give you enough warning to let you know you are driving unsafely. I will never switch away from Michelin tires as long as they continue to deliver the great performance. Having teenagers who are now driving, trying to save a few bucks on cheaper tires just isn't worth it. The Michelins definitely add an extra margin of safety that lets me sleep easier.

SUV

Driving conditions are country, interstate, rain, ice on overpasses and snow. I immediately noticed better stability on turns, a firm ride (like a new vehicle), and gas savings on dry roads. I have every confidence that I'll not have a problem this year with winter conditions. I encouraged my son to purchase these for his F250. His concern is the price. With his driving conditions, I'm willing to make the purchase. These are the best tires I've ever had in 40 years of driving.

Great handling tire, just a bit noisy.

Replaced the original tires on my wife's minivan that gave great service to 65,000 miles. Was hesitant to replace with anything else, but all the reviews were extremely positive, so I gave them a try. So far well worth the change. Great handling, no noticable wear in over 10,000 miles. Great wet weather traction. But I will agree with most reviews, just a bit noisy.

Very good, comfortable ride

I bought the set of Defenders a couple months ago to replace a set of Michelin Hydroedge and continue to be very satisfied with the Michelin product. The ride is very comfortable and the grip on the road is great--something very important to me when I have to travel home in the rain (I have a 30-mile commute).

Comfortable ride, excellent tread wear.

My four new Michelin Defenders increased the comfort level while driving while reducing road noise. It appears that the tread life will meet the descriptions that the company projected for this tire. Although the initial cost was slightly higher than other brands, the added expense is worth it for the service I am getting. I will likely purchase 4 more Michelin's when the tires on my other vehicle require replacement.
