The tires that came on my 2011 Camry were making a lot of road noise before they even hit 30,000 miles. Someone asked me if I had snow chains on my car last March while riding in my car! We purchased 4 Defender tires before going on a road trip and the difference was immediately noticeable. The ride felt "floaty" -- it just felt more like we were riding in a luxury car and it was quiet! I also noticed my gas mileage has improved -- 34 mpg on our last road trip.

I use these tires on a Prius and have driven from Canada to Key West, FL. I have never been so pleased with tires as I am with the Michelins. I am in SC now and heading to MA next and then to Miami, FL. 90,000 mile tread life expected and I know they will still be good. My last set of Michelins had 118,000 miles on them on a pickup truck and those where replaced with Michelins. Wonderful tires

In 2013, I put Michelin Defenders on my 2002 Chevy Cavalier. The car is old but still in great shape, with just over 100,000 miles. Did I need premium level tires? No. Did it make a huge difference from the entry-level tires I was used to having on my vehicle? Absolutely. The ride is more comfortable (which is a feat for this vehicle), and the traction in the rain is incredible, no more slipping. I would recommend this tire to anyone with an older vehicle because it's a more economically priced model of Michelins that will last a long time and offer great performance.

I purchased these tires about 6 months ago. I drive 80 miles round trip commuting to and from work. I need a tire with great wear capabilities. These tires are it. They have absolutely no signs of wear after 6 months of highway driving. As far as road noise they are a quiet tire. I don't however see any difference in gas mileage. All in all I would buy these tires again.

Although I do not have many miles on this new set of Defenders, I can already tell a difference! These tires are like driving on a cloud. Cornering is good but could be a little better. The noise and comfort levels are what has me sold on this tire (and pretty much all Michelins). I have always put Michelins on my cars and the Defender only confirms my reasoning. They are well worth every penny I spent on them. I drive everyday with combined city and highway. In the city there seems to be less noise than on the highway (but most of the interstates around here are concrete, so that adds a little to the noise level). I have a 2007 Mazda3, and they are KNOWN for road noise, but with the Defenders it has subdued that quite a bit. These tires are worth their weight in gold and will gladly purchase them again and again!

I absolutely love and rely on Michelin tires for my vehicles. I feel safer at all speeds and road conditions using these tires and know I can rely on Michelin to correct any errors immediately with no hassles. I have used Michelins for years and will never use any other tire. I highly recommend these tires to my friends and practically insist that my kids use them on their cars.

My husband tried to tell me how much better my mitisbushi would drive with better tires. I went in for the basic cheap tires, well they were out of them in my size the only ones they had were the more expensive ones. I was ready to leave but my husband talked me into getting these. well long story short I will ALWAYS buy these!! the diffrence i driving is totally amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am very pleased with the Michelin Tires. I have had them in the past as well as other tires and I came back to Michelin. My vehicle handles much better and I feel it stays to the road more. I drive with caution on wet roads but I feel much more safe with the Michelin tires on wet roads. I drive a lot of curvy roads and I am much more confident with the Michelin tires.

I got the Michelin Defender when I got my Subaru. I have never driven is snow so confidently as I have while having these tires. Even during some of the worst winters we have had in the mountains, I have always been able to go anywhere I want. I had the tires for about 5 years and I don't know what happened but I started getting flats. One had a screw, the other ended up with a shard of metal and eventually all 4 have been punctured at one time or other. They were wonderful up to this point. Now they leak down constantly which has worn the tread from the outer edges. I now have to replace them all. I can say for a certainty that I know these tires would have lasted a lot longer than they did had this not have happened. I'm pretty sure when they dug up the drive way in front of my house to put in water lines, that they uncovered trash and debris. I can't prove it so I have to deal with the consequences. I was looking forward to seeing just how long these tires would have made it. They were definitely well worth the price. Excellent for Handling, Breaking, and tread wear. As some said earlier, if you are looking for fuel economy these are not the greatest. But if you are looking for an all weather tire that you can be confident driving on in the winter, these are your tires. I can say that my Subaru has rarely gotten over 28 miles to the gallon. But my mom has the exact same care, and different tires and she barely gets 30. So, I'm not concerned with the fuel mileage as much as needing safer tires for many different driving conditions. Make sure to read the information. It helps in the long run.
