I have 5 vehicles all with Michelin Defenders. I have 3 young drivers in the house. I bought them for safety!! The cars break better, steer better, grip better both dry and wet conditions. U might pay a little more, but if they only prevent 1 accident, that's worth a lot. I also recommend getting the road hazard warranty, especially with young drivers!! They don't seem to know how to mis a pot-hole!!

I have a minivan that my wife drives everywhere with the kids. You have also been on vacations where we have put on a lot of miles. The Defeners that we bought were the 4th Michelin tires that I have purchased for a vechile of mine. the tires ride great as all of my Michelins do but for some reason the tire wear was not greatest. I rotate and always check air pressure and for some reason thesetires did not wear well like my Michelins in the past. My wife and I continue using Michelins because I feel its the the most comfortable and safe tires since my kids are always on board.

I have used several sets of Michelin Tires on various vehicles for over twenty years and I have not been disappointed. They give good hazard free road service and long mileage. I have had a set of L/T's on my truck for about fourteen years that still have plenty of life remaining.

I purchases these tires out of need. The only thing I needed was a long life tire, and did I get so much more. These tires are quiet, smooth rolling and comfortable. It was put to me like this. Do you want your family rolling around on some inferior rubber waiting for something bad??? Or do you want peace of mind!! I chose peace of mind!!! So glad I did!!

This is my second consecutive set of Michelin tires....they handle perfectly, are durable beyond belief, and make very little road noise....all my vehicles will have them within 2 more years (5 vehicles in all)...they are rock solid tires for which I will gladly pay more for, rather then to drive cheaper lower quality tires...bravo Michelin, and thanks.

I'm very pleased with these tires. We received 5in. of snow 1/5/17 and I was able to get to work without getting stuck. I didn't slip and slide all over the place. This is my first time buying this brand. The reason I purchased them was because they are top of the line and exceeded all the rest in standards.

So far it has been about 1 yr since I purchased 4 new michelin defenders for my small SUV. I am pleased with the performance and wear of the tires at this time. They seem to be lasting longer than the 2 previous sets of tires I bought from a tire chain store. the price was not cheap but i think it will be fair if they continue to perform and wear as they have been.

these tires are on my 2007 chrysler town & country and they're the 2nd set on this vehicle. i replaced the 1st set at 60,000 miles because i do a lot of highway driving, this set has 12,000 miles on them. they're reasonably quiet, smooth running with good traction in rain or snow.

Just replaced the original LX4 tires on my 07 Honda Odyssey with a set of 4 Defender tires. On a recent roadtrip the tires performed extremely well. Handling and braking were excellent, and there was very little if any road noise. Fuel efficiency was right on the same track as the original equipment tires. The comfort and smoothness of the ride in my opinion takes a close second to the LX4's. I believe this is because the Defender tire carries a 90,000 mile warranty as the original LX4's only lasted 50,000 miles. Also, the sidewall design is a little less attractive as the LX4 but still looks great on the vehicle. I would recommend these tires to anyone looking for great handling in any types of weather.

Put a New set of Michelin's on my 2002 Cadillac Deville [ which I had purchased used a few months previously] & "Walla" I got the RIDE of my hopes. The prior tires were the "originals" & had 50,000 miles & were a major brand original tire. I did not think that changing to Michelin's would really make a noticeable difference [ I was mainly concerned about safety- but what a difference in steering, turning, going over pot holes/road bumps . Bottom line -I got safety & peace of mind plus a bonus of a great ride. Ed Kurth
