I bought these tires to replace the originals and wished I'd done it sooner. I found that the car rode softer and quieter, held the road better, and the 90 thousand mile warranty means that most people will never have to put tires on their car again! It feels great knowing my wife and daughter will be safe driving on wet and wintery roads with the great traction and control that the Michelin defender tires supply. When it comes time to replace tires on my other vehicle I'll be looking to Michelin again to supply me with a tire that will get the job done, come rain, snow, sleet or dry! Michelin defender, like the name says, it's here to defend you!

Bought these to replace Michellan tires I had on my Forester. I stayed with Michellan because the previous ones wore so well. Had these for two months and I like them a lot. There seems to be a hollowing noise sometimes when driving at a high speed but nothing really noticable.

Bought the Defender tires as the replacement for my wife's 04 Pontiac Vibe. With 160K miles already on the odometer, I was still looking for set of tires to go the distance on her vehicle. I couldn't be more pleased with the overall performance- it's superb! Ride, handling and 90K rated mileage is what I was looking for in a tire and the Defender tire has not left me down. I expect these Defender tires to keep rolling and rolling and rolling!

I Love these Tires. I have an older minivan that I have had since 2007. It always rattled going over rough roads, I'm from Minnesota with harsh winters and potholes, "until they get fixed". I've had 2 sets of tires plus snow tires and a year ago I put in new shocks and struts but never thought a tire could make such difference as my new Defenders. When I put the shocks and struts on it made a slight difference but felt like I had wasted my money because it didn't make the difference I was hoping for. Now not only is the road noise quite but so is my car! Absolutely in Love with my New tires.

I purchased these tires for my wife to help defend her or my children from even beeing in an accident. They do exactly that. I have driven through all kinds of water up to the rims and not feel or hardly feel a thing in the steering wheel. Great stopping distance. I have already put 15,000 miles on them and kept them rotated and they look like they barely have 5,000 miles on them.

I needed tires for my 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT. Since I've had Michelin tires in the past for other vehicles and they provided great service, I wanted to get Michelin tires for my van. The Defender tires were highly rated and, after getting them, I've had excellent sevice on dry pavement, in rain, and in snow. I live in New England where weather conditions can be challenging at times, but the Defenders always came through. I would recommend them to anyone; they are a great value for the money.

The Dedender tire is safe, when I need to stop I wouldn't worry about the quality of the tires porformance. That is very important to me because there has been so many times when I had to avoid an accident. We take driving for granted, it is important to have a safe tire, I really belive. The other features it has like a quiet ride is an extra.

Road noise is greater, wet traction and stopping isn't as good, and gas milage isn't as greatly improved as I was lead to believe, but they're still better than everything else out there. Come back in 3 years and we'll see how the tread wear works out.

We were looking for an all season tire for my husband's new used car. When we bought the car, it needed a set of all four tires. He did not want to spend money for a new set of summer and winter tires. I did some research and decided to purchase Michelin Defender tires. We live in Northern Michigan and the defender did a great job both on snow and wet pavement. Thankfully no reports of slipping off the road or other incidents. I would defiantly purchase these tires again when the time comes to replace them. I would recommend these tire to anyone looking for a great all season tire!

When it was time to put new tires on my Honda Civic SI, I chose the Defender. The streets of Atlanta (not to mention the traffic) are notoriously hard on cars and tires, even if you're just driving to and from work every day. The Defender has made my ride feel a lot less choppy, and I can feel their grip on the road during sharp turns and braking. On weekends, I sometimes drive over 2 hours (each way) to see my boyfriend. That's where I've see the biggest impact: less noise and better gas mileage. I've saved half a tank of gas each time I've make the trip since I got those tires. And the ride is much quieter. I love these tires and could not have made a better choice for my car.
