Purchased Defender tires for my 2006 VW Golf. I've been extremely happy with them, especially traction on wet pavement. I do a lot of highway driving the the tires ride much better then what was on the car and the original tires that came with the car. Would purchase them again for my car.

The minute we drove the car after having the Michelin Defenders installed on our Nissan Altima the whole driving experience of the car changed. It rode smoother, felt more firm on the road and was quieter. There are some fairly tight curves on US 101 that we are now able to take safely, and easily about 15-20 MPH faster than before. Our gas mileage increased slightly as well on long trips. Overall we are extremely pleased with the Michelin Defender series tires.

I replaced the tires on my 2001 Honda CRV with the Michellin Defenders. I noticed immediate improvements on the handling and stopping of the car with these tires. Previously, when taking off from a light on wet pavement, my front tires would spin with just a little bit of gas given. With the Defenders, I can practically floor the pedal and the tires grab the road without spinning. Stopping distances are much better than before and when cornering, these tire really hold the road. Additionally the ride on my car is now much smoother and quieter.

These tires handled well in the snow and rain without any problems. Also I thought they really handled corners well too. I love my Michelins. You may have to pay a little bit more for these tires but you get what you pay for!! These tires are worth every penny. Cheap tires do not add up!!

These tires make my ride and my wallet feel better! The Defender tires actually made my ride smoother, even though they are a higher mileage rating. The price of having brand new Michelin's that will be around for many, many miles makes me feel like I have a great value, too!

The tires that were on my PT Cruiser when I got it were awful, I would slip and slide all over the road and I was afraid for my safety. I bought Michelin tires, WOW what a difference. They were wonderful tires and I once again felt sure footed when I drove, and they gave me great peace of mind.

The tires went on an Impala that is driven about 15,000 miles/yr with the majority of the driving done at highway speeds. The tires have been fairly quiet compared to other tires I have used and have good handling on dry and wet pavement. I have not yet had a chance to go through a winter with them on the car. I have only put about 5,000 miles on the tires so far so its a little early to judge wear life but so far there is very little wear.

I have been a longtime Michelin tire customer and my recent purchase of the Defender series tires for my 2005 Dodge Caravan did not disappoint me. These tires replaced a set of older Michelins with 58,000 plus miles on them. The ride is quite, smooth and have great road traction. Living in South Florida road traction is most important considering the slippery road condition in the rainy season. Considering the warranty, wear ability and performance these tire are one of the best values on the market. I highly recommend them.

I very seldom write a review, and if I do usually it is because the product did not meet my expectations. Well in this case I am so excited about my new Michelin Defender tires I want everyone who is even considering a new tire to try this tire. I put them on a 2012 Honda Civic LX Sedan. I don't even think about tires.. they are tires right. Well these actually made the car feel entirely different than the stock factory tires. It turns better, there is way less road noise and slapping. There seems to be less drag and I am experiencing better fuel economy. I have not had them very long but in that short time being in Michigan I have experienced ice, snow and wet conditions and these tires cut right through it. I absolutely could not be happier with my decision. I considered many different brands and price ranges and to be honest these were on the top end of my budget but they are well worth the additional cost and I will never put anything else on any of my vehicles. It is rare that a manufacturer actually delivers on its advertising but in this case Michelin is actually under promising and way over delivering. Thank you and great job !1

I just repurchased a second set of Michelin Defenders for my primary car and also have Defenders on my backup car! I drive 1,600 miles a month and the ride comfort and handling on both wet and dry roads is second to none compared to all the tires I have ever purchased. I am 57 years old and I encourage all my friends and family to buy Michelins and they all agree after owning them that they are excellent in both quality and price!
