My husband and I are in our 60's and have purchased several brands of tires over the years. Through our experience Michelin has out lasted and performed better than any other tires we have used. We've tried cheaper tires with the same or near same mileage as our Michelins and they have never come close to lasting the full mileage in which they claim. We also get the reliability and peace of mind knowing the tires will get us to where we are going safe and sound. All 3 or our cars have Michelins, and we won't buy anything else. Virginia

The defender tire from Michelin is a very quiet and smooth riding tire for my 2005 saturn ion. This car has over 170,000 miles and needs all the help it can get to be a quiet ride. It is comforting to know that for just a little more I can have the very best tire to keep this car on the road and enjoy the drive, quietly.

I have purchased Michelin tires for years while working. Now mostly retired, my car is used mainly for personal travel and family trips. These tires increased my gas mileage on trips by 3 MPG while at the same time giving me great performance in wet and snowy weather. I expected a great ride, but did not expect improved gas mileage. These tires replaced another premium brand recommended by the dealer. I went back to Michelin and am glad I did.

This is a great product. In the bad snow storm around I-285 located around Atlanta, Georgia in 2014, I had absolutely no problem driving with your tires... The only problem was with other drivers who were not prepared and parked their vehicles on the freeway.

I bought my Defender tires in December and nearly 8 months later and 30,000 miles, my tires have shown practically no wear. My daily commute to work is 180 miles a day, 5 days a week. ISo I needed a quiet comfortable tire that would get great mileage. After reading many reviews, I decided to purchase the Defender. It was a great decision. I am pleased with the wear I am getting. I am also pleased with quiet and comfortable ride. I would recommend the Defender tires and will purchase them again when needed on any of my vehicles.

I have tried many brands of less expensive tires over the years, and except for Michelin, all have become cupped on both the 1989 and 2005 Toyota Corollas I have owned. The Michelins have always remained quiet and drive well. It is almost like driving a new car after changing from another brand. The only negatives are that the tread wore down to the legal limit after 66,000 miles instead of the 90,000 advertised, but since I needed to replace my tires before 40,000 miles using other brands, I am quite pleased with this result. The traction on snow and ice is not so good, but I guess this is the trade-off for having a smooth ride.

I drive a carpool with a lot of children. I need dependable tires to ensure the safety of us all. Michelin are the tires that I always choose. All of our vehicles have Michelin tires on them. This is a true testimony to the reliability of the tires. I wouldn't get anything else!

Only bin running these Defenders for 2-3 days, they seem as smooth and quiet as the Eneryg S/A that were replaced. Only differance so far is gas milage has decreased a little but not enough to complain about. Handeling and cornnering are great as before and they hug the road. GREAT LOOKING TIRES Great Price

After shopping at several places for new tires, I bought four of these for my car. The tires I had were original equipment and I got little to no traction in bad weather. Most tire dealers told me that for the size my vehicle required I couldn't do much better than the original tires. They were SO wrong. The Defenders make my vehicle much more sure footed in inclement weather. I have not slid or hydroplaned once since they were installed and I worry a lot less about driving when the weather is bad. I highly recommend these to anyone who has to drive every day regardless of weather. These were well worth the investment.

I purchased these tires before a road trip that included 9 different states, with weather conditions ranging from snow and ice, to hot desert temperatures. The grip on mountain roads exceeded my expectations. The tires are quiet, and I get the sense they truly "feel" the road. Michelin has earned a life-long customer. Makes me want to hit the road again!
