I have these on my mini van that I drive endlessly every day. With all the hills curves potholes and things in the road that I cannot avoid. These tires have stood the test of time so far. As long as they get their regular rotate and balance, they are great tires. I wish they were a little more plush for a more quiet and softer ride, but then they would not last as long.

Since my husband passed away, I am the driver now. I figured he knew best about tires and he always bought Michelin brand. In all the years we drove, we never had a flat tire on the road. I've come to rely on Michelin so when I needed new tires, it was a no-brainer but that I'd buy another set of Michelin's.

On a 97 Buick Regal, commuting 200 miles per day. I've had these tires for about 45,000 miles and they still have half of their tread remaining. I've driven through snow and blizzards and was able to keep up with 4WD vehicles. I've driven through very heavy rainstorms and passed everyone with very little hydroplaning.

Since I work in a tire store I always recommend Michelin Tires. I have tried different tires in the past but have found that nothing compares to Michelin. It is the smoothest riding tires I have ever owned. Best tire made on the planet . Nothing comes close.

I purchased my current car (1996 Mercury Grand Marquis) new in 1996. It came with the Michelin XGT4 tire. This was the first tire I have ever owned that would run smooth at all speeds. At 80,000 miles I went back to Michelin and purchased 1 set of X-one tires, and another set of X-one tires at 160,000 miles. Just today purchased a set of Defender tires at 232,000 miles. I have never had a problem with any Michelin tires I have purchased. I am concerned when I read comments from others about these tires, but, I can tell you that right now these tires are the berries.....Given the advanced age of the car (20 years) and the mileage, I doubt that I will need another set, but, if I do, they will be Michelins. All of these sets have run smooth for their lifetimes and I am very satisfied. I run them on all my vehicles. Keep up the good work Michelin!

When I bought my new 2013 Passat TDI I insisted the dealer remove the cheap OEM tires and I paid for upgraded Michelin Defenders. Right away I could tell they were much quite than the stock tire but my real goal was treadler because I drive 30-35K a year. Here I am now 2 years later with just over 69,000 miles showing and the Defenders are still going with 4/32" thread showing. They have been flawless and when they do finally wear out Ill put another set on too. Good tires may cost a little more but they are a lot safer and they last a lot longer too.

Purchased a used car that came with newer tires but was preparing for a trip to Florida from Virginia and wanted better wet weather traction than these were providing. Replaced tires with the Defender. While these were more expensive then other brands my past experience with Michelin led me to make the purchase. I took the used tires to a local used tire shop to try to get some cash back. These guys usually give m a hard time about not buying from them but when the owner saw what tires I had on the car he got excited, called his assistant over and said "Take a look at these tires! These are the Michelin Defenders. They're the best tire you can put on your car!" With that, I confidently took the family on a 2,500 mile round trip of the south and through some monsoon like downpours and never lost traction as well as experienced decreased road noise compared to the previous tires. I continue to be impressed with the Michelin product.

We have them on our 2006 Kia Sedona Mini van. We've had them for about 7000 miles. They are so much quieter than the last set of tires we have had. They seem to handle fine in snowy weather as well. Looking forward to seeing if I can get 90,000 miles out of them.

I use these tire for commuting to work. Basically all highway miles. so far they are amazing. in the rain it doesnt even feel different i have all the control on the road keep my high speed going. long lasting tire always been a michelin person. and i really cant say anything bad about them.

After dealing with the poor wear (30,000K max) and very poor light snow performance/cost of PAX tires, I was very careful to find appropriate replacements for the PAX system. Had to buy new Honda (steel) wheels and covers. Ordered new TPMS sensors, but found the existing ones on the PAX system fit perfectly (got full refund on ordered sensors). These Defenders are the way to go - they came out at the right time! Have ~5K on the tires - waitibng to see how they perform in winter driving. So far so good!
