Replaced my tires with the Defender because I called four tire dealers and asked them what they had on their family vehicle...three of the four had The Michelin Defender. Best choice I could have made. So far, the ride is so much smoother and I'm impressed by the handling in rain. In places where my other tire would have hydroplaned, this tire sliced through with no trouble. I would have been scared to drive in the recent heavy rain we had with my old tires...but with the Defender I feel safe! Thanks for the GREAT RIDE!!

I would recommend this Michelin Defender tires for your Van. I just bought this type of tires for my Honda Odyssey replacing the original tires installed by the dealership (Michelin LX4). It's so amazing and happy I am when I'm at the road during heavy rain and snow. It's worth the money spent on this tires. It's so reliable and dependable even on sharp turns and the fuel you can save on your car.

The quality is excellent and price is affordable. The driving is smooth and very dependable on roads and gives complete peace of mind while driving. I bought my Defender tires in December and nearly 8 months later and 30,000 miles, my tires have shown practically no wear. My daily commute to work is 180 miles a day, 5 days a week. ISo I needed a quiet comfortable tire that would get great mileage. After reading many reviews, I decided to purchase the Defender. It was a great decision. I am pleased with the wear I am getting. I am also pleased with quiet and comfortable ride. I would recommend the Defender tires and will purchase them again when needed on any of my vehicles.

After shopping at several places for new tires, I bought four of these for my car. The tires I had were original equipment and I got little to no traction in bad weather. Most tire dealers told me that for the size my vehicle required I couldn't do much better than the original tires. They were SO wrong. The Defenders make my vehicle much more sure footed in inclement weather. I have not slid or hydroplaned once since they were installed and I worry a lot less about driving when the weather is bad. I highly recommend these to anyone who has to drive every day regardless of weather. These were well worth the investment.

I had the Michelin Defenders installed on my 2004 Honda CR-V. What a difference from the other tires I had previously had on the car. They are quiet, ride and handling are excellent. Also, wet handling and braking has greatly improved. I am extremely happy with the purchase and have recommended them to 2 of my family members and a few friends. Thanks for producing a great tire.

I have just put my second pair on my 1990 Toyota Corolla All-Trac Wagon with 286,000 miles. A durable smooth running tire with great traction. I live in the mountains of Colorado where we get plenty of snow and found them to be a year round winner !

I've put 2200 miles on a 2009 Chrysler Town & Country van with them so far. I drove a 1700 mile trip from AZ to IL for the fifth time with this van and my gas mileage was 2.4 mpg better than average. It also seems to be more responsive to steering input. Around town I'm seeing a 1.2 better mpg. Very happy with them.

Switched to these for Honda Civic Hybrid. Can feel better grip of the ground while driving. Also these tires handle steep turns at higher speed much better. Feel safe and secure with these. Recommend without hesitation. BTW: Consumer Reports rated these as best / best buy, based on which I bought these.

My wife and I have been very pleased with the clearly improved handling and braking with our four new Defender tires. Even in a downpour, with water puddling on the road surface, we feel our Michelin tires gripping the roadway firmly. It makes for a much more comfortable and confident driving experience and we couldn't be more pleased. The tires do seem to be stiffer and slightly more noisy than our old (very old, very worn out) tires, but that seems a reasonable tradeoff for the better grip.
