I have been putting Michelin tires on all of my vehicles since 1969. I also had them put on my children's cars. The type of tire I am currently using is the hydro-edge,excellent performance.I put them on my 2006 LaCrosse,they are great in wet weather and snow. We also have them on a Gmc Terrain,and a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and 8 on our 42ft motorhomes. Great product!!!

Defender tires are one uncomfortable ride. On a dirt road, the tire trapped smaller rocks and created an annoying tick as it rotates. On a paved road, the tire vibrates like an alarm clock. The design of the defender tire needs a serious review and improvement.

Have been a long time Michelin tire buying family. I'm also a long time consumer reports subscriber and Michelin tires have always been at the top of their recommendations lists. So when it became time for me to buy tires it was a no brainer to get the defender tire. It was just a bonus that this newer tire has a long tread life and still drives smooth.

these were replacement tires on a Honda CR-V AWD. What a HUGE difference. It felt like driving a new car. Road noise had been a significant issue-noise is now reduced by 80% at least. Ride is softer and not as bouncy. These tires handled driving to Tahoe in a huge snow storm-everyone was putting on chains and sliding all over the place, but not us-stopping and handling were incredible! I would purchase these tires again in a heart beat.

Excellent Wear life, I got over 98,000 miles on my last set. So when it came to buying new tires I looked on further than Michelin. The tire store tried to sell me another brand but when it comes to realiability, dependibility, and wearability Michelin is the only tire.

Michelin Tires are simply the best. I have used other brands, but they do not make me feel as safe on my vehicle. I prefer to have and know that I am driving with Michelin because then I not only have peace of mind but I then also feel safe and know that they are durable and stand behind their product. Other brands fall seem to either fall apart from wear and tear more rapidly or they do not actually stand behind their products.

Previously having excellent experience with X-One and Hydroedge, I decided to try the new Defender. It is the ultimate in tire technology for a touring sedan. The handling and roadfeel is superb. Even with a heavyweight sedan like Buick LeSabre, the cornerings are well balanced. Traction, braking and lane changing performance is exceptional with these Defender tires.

i purchased a set of michelin defenders for my wifes honda civic in early 2013. she has a 99 honda civc lx 4dr. these michelins are the first set i have ever purchased and the only brand of tires i will ever buy in the future. they made my wifes 150,000 mile car ride brand new. we have since but about 25,000 miles on them and they still look and ride like new. i rotate and balance them every oil change. we could not be happier. thanks to michelin for making an awesome product.

I was offered the usual "good, better, best" choices of tire brands by my retailer when I bought tires for my car. All three choices were famous brand tires in the size appropriate for my car. I have long been a believer in "best quality is best value", which guided me to Michelin Defender as my choice. They are just what I want in tires; performance, reliability and looks. I am most pleased with my choice.

The first new car I purchased in 1973 had Michelin Radial tires. As a 21 year old driver then, I was very pleased with the performance and handling they gave me over the tires I had driven on in the previous five years. Since then, whenever I have bought a new or used car, and there have been many, I always choose Michelin where I have a choice, and where I do not, I replace with Michelin at the first opportunity. On two occasions, I believe that their handling ability has saved my life while driving. I like the price, but I would pay more for the quality.
