Got my tires on Black Friday for my 2010 Honda CRV. They do very well in the snow and I have not had any issues. I have about 8,000 miles on them so far and I will most probably by Michelin Tires for my wife's car when it needs them. Good quality product.

Have never purchased Michelin tires before, but hav had them on cars that I purchased. Looked around and even though Michelins are a bit more expensive than other tires, you get what you pay for. I am very satisfied with the Defender, they have been on my car for 4 months now, wearing well, from the first time I drove off after having them installed I could tell the difference in handling. Will always buy Michelins from now on.

These tires replaced a set of 4 Michelin HydroEdge on a '08 Chrysler Sebring. I originally purchased the HydroEdge because of their superior water performance, high mileage and quiet comfortable ride. They really delivered except for mileage......the first Michelin's that didnt come close to their rating. I went for the Defenders because of the 90k rating, but after over 9k of driving must say that they handle better and ride at least as good as the HydroEdge. Although too early to tell how they will wear, with over 9k miles, they still look unworn. Very firm ride.....excellent in snow and rain, and they ride very very quiet. These are better than I expected. Highly recommend.

I drive about 55K a year and these tires are holding up great! Even at 80K there are still lots of life left in them. It might help that I keep them at 40PSI and have regular rotations done. Wet performance is ok not great but what do you expect with a harder compound long lasting tire!

defender tires--purchased june 4 2012-first tank of gas after purchase i had lost 3 miles per gallon-now oct 18 2012 this last tank fuel went to 22 mi per gal. versus the 26.6-27-4 i was gettting before these tires. my 2010 honda crv tires only had 26,000 miles on them and were shot. the defenders are not quiet either. certain hwy's going to columbus oh they were down right noisey.--so i am not happy taking them in for a check up to see what might be the problem?--instead of gaining 3.5 mi per gall i lost it.

Love my Michelins. When I replaced tires on my Odyssey the first time, the place I went to did not have Michelins and I ended up with some "noisy" tires that I never really liked. 40,000 miles later I replace them with Michelins. The noise disappeared and the ride is smooth and silky. I am retired. A lot of my driving is short spurts in town; but we love to travel, and the Michelins love the HIGHWAY. My license plate is "ONTHERD"--(on the road; so many people say on the herd, duh), and that is where I love to be --on the road in my Odyssey with my Michelins. No regrets!!!

The tires are outstanding in tread wear and sound reduction on my travels from home to work distance of 35 miles. They absorb those nasty pot holes with ease without bouncing the car to new verticle heights! Price was reasonable with numerous outlets around our area. Keep up the great product work and research.

We have been Michelin customers for more than 10 years, as Michelin tires always give a quiet ride and seem to wear well. We've only had these tires one month, but the road noise has been significantly reduced over the tires that came with our mini-van. I do not think the over-all wear of the tires is better than less expensive brands, so it's only worth it if you really need the reduced noise.

Last November (2012) I put new Defenders on my 2002 Corolla S. My daily commute averages about 30 miles each way, 30% city / 70% highway. At this point, I have driven on them around 17,000 miles and through winter, spring, and summer. I have rotated them once, around 10,000. They are wearing well and very evenly. It took awhile for them to get "broken-in", if that's the right way to put it. I was a bit concerned at first, when they were getting 1-2 mpg less than my previous Tiger Paws. But on my longer road trips this summer (100% highway), I again reached my peak mileage of 42 mpg. And I have no complaints at all about overall handling in various conditions. I live in the midwest, in the Kansas City area, where we do experience pretty much the whole range of weather and road conditions: cold and hot, wet and dry, snow and ice. If I were pressed for a complaint, I'd say (only half-heartedly), they can seem a little bit loud at times. Overall, I'm very happy with my Defenders and look forward to riding them as close to their 90,000-mile rating as I can.

These tires have been worth the money. The ride on our 03 Honda Odyssey has been so much smoother than on previous non-Michelin tires we used. And the noise reduction inside the vehicle has been much improved. I will almost certainly buy these tires again in the future.
