Buying tires is a stressful task for a senior citizen. I reviewed the types of tires recommended for my SUV and then zeroed in on 2 or 3 tire models. Read the reviews on all, and the Michelin Defender came out on top. Have been extremely pleased with the performance, ride, wearability so far! This was a great purchase! Thank you.

When I needed tires, the Michelin Defender was suggested. Even though I wasn't familiar with the Defender, the 4 tires were priced right and Michelin's reputation was good enough for me. Was I surprised with the great ride and handling! There is no down side to these great tires! I expect to get many miles of wear because I keep the alignment right and rotate the tires as suggested. Thanks Michelin for a great tire that is priced right and I can easily recommend to anyone!

I bought these on 9/14 and I remember noticing how much more quite and smooth the ride was on my 2010 Prius. I am now on this site because I finally got around to registering my tires, went to check on them and they look good. I have driven about 10,000 miles so far and I don't have any issues or complaints. I'm not as organized of a person or as easy going as the average Prius driver, I tend to drive hard everyday on my everyday 55 mile commute. I also remember complaining about how loud the road noise was before I got my Michelins, I don't any more. MPG is about the same as the OEM's. Maybe they are not as great as some people expect them to be but they are much better than I had so I am happy.

My tire guy recommended the Defender. I was only changing two of my tires and these closely matched what I already had on my car. He knew that I was working with a tight budget and I feel that I got my moneys worth. I rely heavily on my tire guy to recommend good quality & price for tires. They drive great. I'm needing to change the other two tires on my car. I will be putting defenders on my van.

I purchased these tires less than 2 years ago and only have 20,000 miles on them. The measured tread depth is is only 7/'32 and they are "worn" so they will need to be replaced very soon. .I have taken care of them @ the dealership with regular rotations & alignments . The tires require air in them every 3 weeks & the the road noise is terrible. I am very unhappy and dissatisfied with these tires. I will never buy Michelin tires again. How disappointing because Michelin use to have good tires that would last.

The tires are outstanding in tread wear and sound reduction on my travels from home to work distance of 35 miles. They absorb those nasty pot holes with ease without bouncing the car to new verticle heights! Price was reasonable with numerous outlets around our area. Keep up the great product work and research.

I recently purchased Defender tires for my 07 Honda Odyssey and so far I am so pleased and was glad I picked these tires. It surely rides smoother, quieter, and comfortable. Plus, it has 90,000 miles warranty with Michelin. It also looked great with my vehicle. No downside comments yet, though I never had tried any other brands with my two vehicles, it has always been Mechilins, in my personal opinion, using them for so many years, they are the best tires and with no problems. I highly recommends these tires, you won't regret it.

I use these tires on a Ford Taurus and find them to be the perfect combination of smooth ride and secure traction. They really grab the road and are superb when braking on wet roads. My mileage showed noticeable improvement. I couldn't be happier with the quality. These were recommended to me my tire dealer who I have dealt with for 25 years.

The Defender is an excellent tire due to its tread life, stopping ability in inclement weather and a smooth and quiet ride. It is a bit pricy but worth every penny. After initially researching this tire and several others, the Defender was rated as one of the best. So I bought them. This is now my second purchase and I have recommended them to family and friends. Keep it going Michelin!

Hello, I was researching for a long time before I decided to purchase the Defender tire. I have had alot of bad experiencies with driving in the rain with other tires. I breeze right through heavy rain- No Problem, no skidding, Just smooth control. I love it. I found that for daily driving, it took a little bit more time for the tires to grip the ground. Now it is fine. So relax and go out and feel reassured you made the right decision. Go Defender!
