I drive 45k miles per year in a northern state. After 6k miles I'm very happy with this tire. Excellent traction in snow and rain. I was looking for a LRR tire to optimize mileage, I'm somewhat disappointed with the performance in this category, currently averaging about 4 mpg less then my previous tire. Additional i find them somewhat noisier then I had hoped for. Wiith regular rotation I'm hoping to get the 85-90k.

Just purchased a new set of four Defender tires for my '02 Camry. Had four worn older tires that gave me bad gas mileage. On the first fill up after putting on new tires, I averaged 33 miles per gallon (city & Hwy), much to my surprise since my Camry is supposed to get 20 mpg city and only 30 mpg Hwy. So I'm happy to get an extra 8 miles per gallon!

Michlin Defender tires have proven to have superior treadlife and durability on my cars for the past 15 years. The tires ride smoothly and are trouble free. From time to time replacements have been made because of age - never because of excessive wear or defects. Whennever I need tires Michlin is my first and only choice.

I was having trouble with flats with my old tires therefore decided to purchase new tires. I am very impressed with my Michelin tires. I have much better gas mileage, quiet ride and smooth. I did not realize tires made such a huge difference. Now I do.

Love these tires! Installed them on my 98 Lincoln Town Car in place of the Michelin Harmony tires that were on it previously. They are great in the rain, great dry traction, and get very good gas mileage. They also offer a very quiet ride. All in all I say these are a great tire for this application! They have approximately 10,000 miles on them right now and there is no appreciable wear yet.

I own a Jeep that came with another brand of tires . I had bought it new . Last year when we had some bad weather my Jeep was all over the road slipping and sliding . Well , I saw some Michelin ads on the TV , so I asked a few people who had Michelin about their tires . I was told that they were very satisfied with thier performance . I than purchased a set of 4 , and when the bad weather came , they were outstanding . They handled the snow and ice very well , and without a doubt , saved me from a couple of accidents while I was driving and someone cut me off or was on their cell phone and almost side swipped me . These tires have handle all the road conditions that I have driven in, from driving in New York City , on roads with pot wholes , and up in the mountains of the Poconos . I would recommend these tires to anyone , and will continue to purchase them whenever I will need tires again.

I used to use Michelins years ago and I loved them. I got away from them for awhile and now I wonder why. I have them on my mini van that I have owned now for 11 yrs and these are the quietest tires I've ever put on. They feel great on the road, like I am getting more traction than before. I like the way they grip during the rain too. The ride is so much smoother than before as well. I am a very satisfied customer and will buy Michelins again when I am in need of new tires.

these were replacement tires on a Honda CR-V AWD. What a HUGE difference. It felt like driving a new car. Road noise had been a significant issue-noise is now reduced by 80% at least. Ride is softer and not as bouncy. These tires handled driving to Tahoe in a huge snow storm-everyone was putting on chains and sliding all over the place, but not us-stopping and handling were incredible! I would purchase these tires again in a heart beat.

Although we have not had these tires on this vehicle long, I'm confident we will like them. I've only driven in dry conditions so far but have observed very quiet road noise and great emergency braking unfortunately yet fortunately if you know what I mean.

Got Michelin Defenders installed on my 50,000 mile Honda Accord in February and noticed the difference right away. Of course, I didn't realize how bad the Honda stock tires on the car were and we had a huge snow/ice storm that day. The car was a million times better in the snow and ice; but, it wasn't like it was perfect. However, these are all season tires not snow tires. They were pretty expensive but so far I am pleased. I would say on a scale of 1-10 I am a 7.5 right now, with the potential to go up. I will say that I thought it would be an enormous difference from old tires and it is substantial, but for the $ I am wondering if another brand would have been better?
