I log 25,000+ miles per year on the highway & interstate. These tire have totally made me re-think how much of a difference a good tire makes to overall comfort. I love these tires. I know it sounds silly, but when you spend this much time on the road, comfort really counts.

The tires are on a 2009 Jetta Sportwagon TDI with about 65K miles. It also has Eilbach lowering springs, Billstein dampers and a slightly larger rear sway bar. The Defenders are riding well, are quiet and have improved mileage by 1-2 MPG. There doesn't seem to be a problem in wet conditions which would be expected with a long tread life tire. No complaints to date and for the first 5K miles. Every time I stray away from Michelin, I almost always are disappointed. Michelin tires have never disappointed and my purchase history includes more than 10 sets of regular and snow tires.

These are by far, the best tires I have ever owned. I can stop on a dime, through rain, wind, snow & ice. I am getting better gas mileage too. My Defender tires have made me a Michelin customer for life! This is one time when a product was worth every penny I paid!

Michelin has done it again! I have had Michelin tires for over 30 years now and would not own any other tire. The ride is smooth and there is no road noise. These tires if rotated on a regular basis will last at least as long as the advertised miles. Winter time is also a big challenge where we live and I never have had to worry with my wife and kids on the road knowing they have the best tire in the industry underneath them. I will continue to be a Michelin man as long as I am buying tires! Great Products!

and i have if you ever want to have peace of mind that no matter what the road conditions are you are always safe with michelins......i do and have every confidence that these tires were made with the highest degree of professionalism....i am not buying just the name but in my case it is historically the best tire quality without a doubt! i will always feel confident with me and my family in the car that we are safe......thanks again michelin for a superb job..........Andy

After reading several glowing reviews, I got a set of four for our 2008 Honda Odyssey. Hydroplaning vanished, traction is outstanding, and the tires are surprisingly quiet, which I didn't expect because of the long tread life. I would not hesitate to buy again, and will when our othr car requires new tires.

Sure I tried other tires and there is no comparison. I got half the mileage out of other brands and performance wise I felt much safer driving on Michelin's. The performance of the tire and mileage I get out of a set of Michelin's is worth a little more money.

Purchased these tire on 09/18/2013. Now have 71,545 miles on them. All is good untill now. I'm getting a lot of road noise but not sure its the tires. I was told when I got these that they would not last the whole 90,000 miles because of the roads here. Lots of hills and sharp turns. There is still about 10 to 20 thousend miles left on them.

I own a Jeep that came with another brand of tires . I had bought it new . Last year when we had some bad weather my Jeep was all over the road slipping and sliding . Well , I saw some Michelin ads on the TV , so I asked a few people who had Michelin about their tires . I was told that they were very satisfied with thier performance . I than purchased a set of 4 , and when the bad weather came , they were outstanding . They handled the snow and ice very well , and without a doubt , saved me from a couple of accidents while I was driving and someone cut me off or was on their cell phone and almost side swipped me . These tires have handle all the road conditions that I have driven in, from driving in New York City , on roads with pot wholes , and up in the mountains of the Poconos . I would recommend these tires to anyone , and will continue to purchase them whenever I will need tires again.

As soon as my wife drove the car home with these tires on it, she said she felt a huge difference. Very smooth ride. And we have not had any problems with any of the other Michelin tires we've had before. We have not yet had the chance to test these in snow, but our other Michelins do very well. We'll find out in a couple of months how they do, but so far so good. No complaints here.
